The young assistant stood to the side, head hung low, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. "Yates, he... he hasn't arrived yet."
"Call the driver! Ask where they are and tell him to get his ass in here, now!" Evan Yates's agent, Todd Phelps, paced agitatedly, his voice a frantic roar.
"I told him not to get cocky. Damn it, this time he's really landed me in a huge mess."
"Have you contacted PR? What did they say?"
"Call them again and push them. Tell them to come up with a solid plan, fast."
As he spoke, Todd Phelps instructed his young assistant to contact the PR team.
The young assistant was listening to Todd Phelps when he heard a sound at the door. He glanced over cautiously and saw Evan Yates walk in. A flicker of hope appeared in the assistant's terrified eyes.
"Phelps, Yates is here."
Hearing that Evan Yates had arrived, Todd Phelps immediately whirled to face him.
