At 7:00 PM, in private room 666 of The Silkwood Estate, Olivia Wynne put her bag on a chair and sat down. "Sorry, I'm late."
Mrs. Shaw's stern expression softened a little. She spoke softly to Olivia Wynne, "Not at all. I was early."
Olivia Wynne smiled and got straight to the point. "Miss Shaw, was there something you wanted to see me about?"
She had only met this Mrs. Shaw once before, at the Fairchild Family's home. By all rights, they were strangers. 'What could she possibly want with me?'
"It's nothing too important, really. I heard you're an actress, and our company is looking for a spokesperson. I think your image is a great fit for what we're looking for, so I wanted to ask if you have the time to take on an endorsement."
'Is this some kind of wonderful surprise?' As long as it wasn't for a fraudulent product or an endorsement that went against the national interest, of course she would accept an offer that came right to her.
