The man did not immediately answer. Instead, he took two quick steps to Olivia Wynne's side. Noticing she was a bit preoccupied, he whispered, "Let me kiss you."
The words barely out of his mouth, Zachary Fairchild gave Olivia Wynne no chance to object, pressing his warm, soft lips to her forehead.
The light, cool sensation vanished in an instant. Zachary straightened up, his gaze lowered slightly as he looked at Olivia. "There. Good night."
With that, Zachary strode away.
Olivia Wynne stood rooted to the spot. She waited until Zachary had closed his bedroom door before she dazedly touched her forehead.
'Was that just a kiss?'
'It felt cool… and nice, actually.'
Once inside his bedroom, Zachary closed the door, and the tension finally left his body.
'The internet said a little physical intimacy helps a relationship grow.'
'He was just testing the waters today. It looked like Olivia Wynne didn't mind, so he could try it more often in the future.'
