Caleb Bishop's expression was grim. He opened his mouth to answer Olivia Wynne, but the words caught in his throat.
He hadn't received an invitation. He was only here because he'd heard from someone at the company that Olivia Wynne had stolen his job, and he'd come in a fury to confront her.
Seeing Caleb Bishop fall silent, Olivia Wynne took two steps forward to stand at his left. "Why so quiet?" she asked coldly. "Finally realized you have nothing to say?"
"It pays to be self-aware. With your reputation as it is, do you really think any production team would ask you to be a guest?"
Olivia Wynne's words struck a nerve. The frustration that had been festering for a week erupted at her provocation. He clenched his fists and glared viciously at her.
"Olivia Wynne, you bitch! You have the nerve to lecture me? No matter how bad my reputation is, it's better than yours. You're just a common whore."
