'Why did Zachary's words feel a little off? What did he mean, he'd "filled her up"? But on second thought, maybe there was nothing wrong with it. After all, she really had eaten the meal he cooked, and now she was full.'
Of course, Zachary had no idea what was running through Olivia's mind. Hearing her words, he shot a meaningful glance at her red lips before saying, "Since Olivia feels she should thank me, shouldn't you show it with your actions? Just saying it isn't enough."
The moment Zachary spoke, Olivia's mind flashed back to the past. 'I remember another time Zachary said something similar, asking me to thank him with my actions. I treated him to a meal back then. I wonder what he wants me to do today?'
Looking at Zachary warily, Olivia took a small step back.
