In a restaurant near the main government building, Olivia Wynne sat across from Zachary Fairchild, her lovely eyes still watching him with suspicion.
"So you really did just want to have a meal with me."
Zachary stirred the water in his glass and looked up nonchalantly. "What, is that not allowed?"
'Of course it was allowed. Eating together was, at the very least, less boring and lonely than eating by herself.'
'But the way he went about it was all wrong.'
"If you want to ask me to eat with you in the future, just call and say so. You don't need to lure me over here like this."
He had told her over the phone that someone had taken photos of them at the supermarket and was about to post the scandal online, telling her to come to his office.
When she tried to ask for more details, Zachary clammed up and just hung up the phone.
And the result? She had rushed to his office, only to be told that the story had been intercepted.
