It was, of course, Zachary Fairchild who had answered the phone that morning, but Olivia Wynne didn't share that with Wayne Quinn. Hearing the accusatory tone in his voice, she wasn't happy.
"Quinn, this doesn't really have anything to do with work, does it?"
"How does it not? Olivia Wynne, don't you forget who you are. You're an actress, a celebrity. You have fans all over the country watching you. You were just caught up in rumors a short while ago. If another scandal breaks now, your career could be completely destroyed."
Wayne Quinn sat with his legs crossed, lecturing her like some condescending old man.
Olivia knew that scandals were certainly not a good thing for a celebrity.
But she didn't want Wayne Quinn interrogating her about her private life. She was a celebrity, not a puppet. 'Can't I have a private life of my own?'
Wayne Quinn's tone was unpleasant, so Olivia's gentle expression vanished. She looked at him, her face serious.
