A man of Mr. Keaton's stature had others clamoring to get close to him. He was already distant from the Rhodes Family, not to mention their daughter had been disrespectful to the Young Madam in the past. There was no need to even think twice about helping them.
He had said all that needed to be said politely. So when the Rhodes family pleaded again, this time with a hint of a threat, Wyatt Walsh's tone hardened.
"Mr. Rhodes, the Aura District is your domain. Mr. Keaton visits maybe five times a year, if that. What exactly do you expect him to do for you? Of course, you're free to try and ruin me whenever you like. But here in Veridia, Mr. Keaton is the one who calls the shots."
He finished with a placid smile. "I believe we have nothing more to discuss. Goodbye, Mr. Rhodes."
