The horse's name was Cloe, and she was very gentle. After a brief lesson from Preston Keaton, Evelyn Grant could already practice riding on her own.
A groom followed from a distance to ensure her safety.
Ever since Apex Group officially announced Preston Keaton's marital status, his private phone had been flooded with calls. Likewise, the phones at Apex were ringing off the hook.
The people with his private number were naturally those he was close with—people who would be invited to his wedding banquet—so they spoke casually.
"When did you get married?! I had no idea! You're not going to bring your new wife to meet us?"
"You'll see her at the banquet, it's the same," Preston Keaton said, his gaze fixed on the figure riding into the distance. He frowned slightly. 'The girl is getting bolder. At first, she was so scared she huddled in my arms, but now that she's learned a bit about riding, she's like a little bird, flying farther and farther away.'
