All the employees at Apex knew that Keaton's temper had mellowed considerably since his marriage. However, on certain days, you absolutely could not schedule any business for him, or he would get angry.
One was their wedding anniversary, and the other was the Young Madam's birthday.
On those two days, Keaton went home to be with his wife.
However, on these occasions, Keaton would usually send red envelopes to all the company's employees, and the amounts were quite generous.
So every year, the employees looked forward to these two days with an eagerness that was bone-deep.
Today was the Young Madam's birthday.
Keaton left the office early, and before going, he sent out the red envelopes as was tradition.
Led by the vice president, a torrent of flattery ensued: "Happy birthday to the Young Madam! Wishing you and Keaton a lifetime of love and happiness!"
Watching this, Wyatt Walsh couldn't help the dry twitch of his lips.
