The massive monsters were chasing after Basil Xavier.
Gordon Ford had already charged forward, gun in hand. He retained his previous memories and knew the monsters' weaknesses, so he aimed for their vital spots.
At the same time, he told Stella Sterling about this weakness. "These monsters' weak points are their eyes. If you attack their eyes, they'll be immobilized."
Stella Sterling nodded. She had also pulled out a gun and started firing as she ran toward Basil Xavier to meet up with him.
The monsters chasing Basil Xavier were dealt with, but the commotion attracted the attention of others. Hordes of monsters started charging madly in their direction.
Gordon Ford frowned. "The gunshots are loud. More and more of these things will swarm us once they hear the noise. We have to run, now!"
Firing the guns would attract the monsters, but without them, they had no way of fighting back.
Not only was Caleb Xavier's body still weak after returning, but Gordon's was as well.
