In just that short time, more and more things flew out of the rift, hurtling down toward the ground.
"Activate Level-S alert! Notify all personnel in the field to return to base immediately!"
Stella Sterling commanded.
Stephen Lawrence and the others, who had been preparing for the wedding tomorrow, froze for a moment before immediately carrying out her orders.
An endless stream of monsters poured from the rift until the sky was blotted out by a dark, oppressive mass.
Many people saw it, their eyes widening in terror. Before some could even react, they were torn to shreds by monsters that had landed and charged at them.
The sight horrified everyone. They turned and fled...
「Inside Caeluna Base.」
The defense systems activated just in time, holding the monsters at bay.
The personnel of Caeluna Base also had a clear view of the situation outside.
"What are these things? Mutated animals?"
"It's like the sky has split open!!!"
