Chapter 128 - Chapter 127: The 【Red】 Faction Retreats

"Hahahaha~~!!" Persephone darted through the golden wheat fields, dancing like a joyful fairy.

Hades stood behind her, watching the laughing Persephone with a face full of love.

Afterward, the two sat on the grass of Elysium and sang together, while countless Nymphs accompanied them with music and dance.

Amidst the beautiful music and cheerful dancing, Hades and Persephone's gazes met from time to time, their eyes filled with deep affection for each other. Their voices were like heavenly music, melodious and moving, conveying their inner joy and love.

As night fell, stars twinkled in the sky. Persephone leaned gently on Hades's shoulder, enjoying the serene beauty together. At this moment, they seemed to forget all their worries and troubles, immersing themselves only in each other's warm company.

By the river, the two put their feet in the cool water. Persephone giggled and played with Hades, splashing water at each other.

The water Persephone splashed at Hades sent up crystal-clear droplets that sparkled with colorful light in the sun. Hades dodged with a laugh and struck back at Persephone, refusing to be outdone. Their laughter echoed along the riverbank, causing the nearby birds to stop and watch.

The river flowed beneath their feet, bringing a hint of coolness, yet it could not cool the passion in their hearts. Before they knew it, their clothes were soaked, but they didn't care, enjoying the happiness of the moment to the fullest.

When they grew tired of playing, they sat quietly side by side by the river, letting the breeze dry the water droplets on their bodies. Persephone's hair fluttered in the wind, as beautiful as a poem or a painting. Hades couldn't help but reach out to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear, his movements gentle and his eyes full of doting affection.

Night

"Come and catch me, Hades~~!!" Persephone ran through the fields, her face full of smiles, as she looked back and called out to Hades.

Hades also rushed forward to chase her with a face full of doting love. The night was filled with Persephone's bell-like laughter and the joyful figures of the two lovers.

Before long, Hades caught Persephone. She offered no resistance, sinking into Hades's embrace with a blushing face.

"Persephone, will you marry me?" Hades whispered into Persephone's ear as he looked down.

"Yes, I will." With a blush on her face, Persephone turned to look at Hades and said, then stood on her tiptoes to give Hades a light peck on the lips.

At the same time, dawn arrived. The sun rose slowly, its light reflecting off Hades and Persephone, illuminating Persephone's golden hair.

"Hades, can you stay?" Persephone looked at Hades and asked.

Hearing this, Hades finally remembered that he was inside Shakespeare's Noble Phantasm. He then turned and walked toward a certain spot.

The underworld armor and the Hades Sword reappeared on his body. Seeing Hades walking away, Persephone began to grow anxious.

"Hades..." Persephone reached out toward Hades. Hearing her, Hades stopped and turned to look back at Persephone.

"Persephone, please wait for me. When I finish this journey, I will continue to accompany you."

"Okay, I will wait. I will wait for you," Persephone said with a smile, holding back the tears in her eyes.

As Persephone watched Hades's departing back, tears couldn't help but burst from her eyes. She knew Hades had to leave, but her heart was full of reluctance.

As Hades vanished, the surrounding environment began to shift gradually. Persephone wiped away her tears, determined to wait for Hades's return.

Boom—!!!

Hades stepped out of Shakespeare's Noble Phantasm world and returned to the original forest. He turned around to see that the Persephone who had been behind him had actually turned into a life-sized wooden puppet with many joints.

"Ohhh—!! To think that the legendary and terrifying Hades, King of the Underworld, would have such a pure love! It truly gives me a surge of inspiration!!" At that moment, Shakespeare stood to the side, brush in hand, writing continuously in the book he carried. Other people's experiences were his best source of writing material.

Rumble—!!!

In an instant, a powerful surge of energy erupted, directly chilling the souls of all the Servants and Masters present. The surrounding trees withered in that very heartbeat.

While the smile remained on Shakespeare's face, his hands holding the brush and book were trembling uncontrollably. The culprit behind all this, Hades, was walking toward Shakespeare step by step, gripping the Hades Sword. His body radiated a terrifying Cosmos of Death and darkness, so dense it almost condensed into a physical Reaper.

He spoke with a voice and gaze that were both ice-cold:

"I thank you, playwright. You allowed me to have a nice dream, but you have crossed the line."

Atop the Millennia Fortress, Charon slowly lowered his hand holding his longbow, though it was still trembling. With a bitter smile on his face, he said:

"Hades... he is angry now."

Fiore, standing nearby, was shocked to hear Charon's words. To have such a terrifying aura just from being angry—this was the dread of the god who ruled over all life, Hades, King of the Underworld.

Neigh—!!!

A piercing horse's neigh rang out as a silver chariot pulled by three horses flew through the air. The driver was Achilles, who grabbed Shakespeare with one hand and pulled him onto the chariot, heading straight for the sky.

[A chariot pulled by three horses. Two are the immortal divine horses 'Xanthus' and 'Balius' gifted by the sea god Poseidon, and the third is the famous horse 'Pedasos,' pillaged from the city during the attack on Eetion. It ravages the battlefield with divine speed, capable of dealing additional damage proportional to its increase in speed. It can reach the speed of sound in an instant; at its highest speed, it is like a giant, galloping meat grinder.]

Achilles roared at Shakespeare with an anxious face:

"Caster! What on earth did you do!! To make Lord Hades fly into such a rage all of a sudden!! That pressure that makes everything wither is no joke!!"

"Regardless, we can consider ourselves to have escaped a disaster," Atalanta said as she also jumped onto Achilles' chariot, letting out a sigh of relief.

Seeing this, Hades did not pursue. He simply stood in place, silently returning the Hades Sword to its scabbard, and then left the area.

Because Astolfo could still move thanks to the skill [Evaporation of Sanity], he stepped forward and asked Hades:

"Saber, why didn't you attack?"

Hades turned to look at Astolfo and said, "There is no need. They cannot escape my palm. There is no harm in letting them prance around for a few more days."

After saying that, Hades returned to the Millennia Fortress.
