Inside the Peace Hotel,
"Sir, may I ask your name?" Ed asked, looking at the fat man who was acting like a curious child at the Peace Hotel.
The fat man snapped out of his daze and realized it was the young man who had just left. He immediately beamed with joy.
"No, no, just call me Mr. Jie." The fat man was still in shock at how spacious and bright the place was and almost misspoke.
"Mr. Jie, there are many jungles and swamps in the southeast of this place. The lord just told me about your situation. Does your young lady need the lord's help? This is the lord's reply, but he is about to go out. He has entrusted me with the matter of helping you. As for other matters, we will discuss them after he returns."

Carly snapped out of her daze and looked in the direction of the sound. Their eyes met, and she was just about to speak.
"This must be Miss Carly! Mr. Zed already told me. Come and sit down, lunch will be ready in a bit. The lord has entrusted your affairs to me. By the way, you can call me Ed." Ed winked at her.
So it was this idiot who understood the fat guy. Carly smiled and sat down at the long table.
Before long, three servings of roasted rabbit meat, three bowls of pea porridge, and three small wheat breads were placed in front of the three people.
