Even Robin and Frank were surprised. They never thought someone as ordinary as Gojo would have a chance of awakening Conqueror's Haki.
"Remember, Conqueror Haki is a spirit. You have that spirit. Whether it is to gamble your life for the people of your island or make a condition like a pirate would for innocent civilians."
"As long as you don't change that aspect of your mind and keep getting stronger, you will have a chance of awakening Conqueror Haki."
Hearing that, Gojo was stunned before he bitterly smiled.
"I never thought my act of kindness could be a fuse for awakening a power that could destroy an immortal being."
"But Captain, what exactly is Conqueror Haki?"
Clap!
Tyler slapped himself on the forehead and said.
"I almost forgot you know nothing about Conqueror Haki. Robin, it's your job to explain Haki to new members."
Robin nodded and then started explaining Haki and the different types of Haki. She also gave the vivid examples that Tyler had told her before.
"So, Conqueror Haki is basically the ticket to the top of this world? And, you think all three of us can awaken it?"
Gojo couldn't help but feel speechless at his Captain's confidence.
Tyler nodded.
He remembered Yamato, Zoro, and Loki. All three of them had Conqueror Haki. More importantly, Sanji also had a massive chance.
Although Yamato and Loki hadn't joined the crew, they were very close.
So, it wasn't a problem to count them as part of the crew.
Since the Straw Hats had four confirmed Conqueror Haki users, why couldn't his crew have similar numbers?
No, he wanted his crew to surpass them.
"Not three, Gojo! Captain has four people in his mind, not including himself." Robin chuckled as she spoke.
Then she asked.
"But, Captain, do you have it?"
"Of course!"
Tyler spoke with a strong conviction.
"I just need a serious life-and-death battle to use it, or a lot of training. I prefer a life-and-death battle."
Frank frowned and said.
"Captain, don't overestimate your Devil Fruit's recovery! Since you have already awakened it, there is no need to take a risk."
Robin nodded and said.
"Yes, Captain! You are quite reckless. You should tone down your reckless behavior."
Tyler couldn't help but show a look of displeasure. But he didn't argue with his crew since they were worried about him.
After finishing his meal, he walked out of the kitchen. He started kicking the butts of his other crewmates, waking them up.
"Wake up! You are occupying my training ground."
"Wake up! I am going to start my training."
"Wake up!"
He didn't kick Pochi and Peach. After shaking them, they woke up.
"Morning, Captain!"
"Morning, Captain!"
"Good Morning, Captain!"
"Captain!"
Everyone greeted him and went to the bathroom. Fortunately, this ship had several bathrooms, so nobody had to worry about waiting for hours.
Everyone finished their morning routine and found their Captain swinging his sword on the deck.
Every swing compressed a small sword slash and released it. They had seen his previous slash, so they didn't think their Captain was going all out.
And he wasn't.
Tyler was trying to merge the power of wind with his normal slash. He had done it before with that cage.
The wind had increased the power of his slash by three times, but he didn't have proper control over it.
So, he was learning to control this power.
On the other hand, Adam began teaching new members. Originally, Tyler planned to do it, but he got so engrossed in the training that he forgot.
Adam wasn't bad at teaching. He had reinforced the deck to bear the impact of his giant form, so using Soru wouldn't destroy it.
He only taught them Soru. Since they were established pirates, they already had a strong body.
Teaching them Soru was to help them utilize their strength in the right direction.
Among the seven new members, only Gojo was having a hard time with his training. But remembering his new Captain's expectation, he started pushing himself.
Two days passed like a paper boat in a river.
Within these three days, Pawan and Harald were able to use Soru, though with some difficulty.
Others still had a lot to learn. But surprisingly, after Pawan and Harald, Gojo was the one with the highest mastery over Soru.
Although it wasn't enough for him to use it in a battle, he could still use it with enough preparation time.
Now, he had to decrease that preparation time so he could use it during a battle.
Tyler found that despite mastering this move, Gojo couldn't use it because his leg wasn't strong enough.
He was a doctor who rarely trained, so his leg strength was quite weak. Seeing this, Tyler put Gojo through some serious leg exercises.
On the third day, Robin sailed the ship closer to the Ilisia Kingdom.
"Captain, we are here."
Tyler stared at a large kingdom in front of him. It was even bigger than Kano Country, but this kingdom had one serious problem.
It was one of the kingdoms with its affiliation to the World Government. Its king even had a connection to the Celestial Dragon.
"So, how does it feel to be back, Frank?"
Tyler patted him on the back and asked.
Frank glared at his captain before sighing.
"I really don't want to land on this island."
"Come on! This is your home. Isn't there anything you want to do before we leave?"
Tyler asked, laughing.
Frank's eyes suddenly lit up as he asked.
"Captain, can you help deal with someone?"
"Oh? Who is it? King, Queen, or CP Agents?" Tyler asked curiously.
"No, none of them! CP agents should've already left this island. King and Queen aren't my problem."
"It's a minister. That's the guy who sent my information to the Celestial Dragon. I only learned about this before I escaped this island."
Frank's eyes were quite gloomy, and others understood why.
Tyler simply laughed and said.
"I bet it's because you slept with his wife."
Frank's seriousness immediately faltered as he asked.
"Captain, are you with him or me?"
Tyler patted him on the back and said.
"Don't worry, I am with you. Since he messed with my crew, we will mess with him."
He gave Frank a thumbs-up and whispered.
"Don't worry, before we leave, you can spend your time with his wife."
"Captain, you are naughty, but I like this plan."
"Hehe!" "Hehe!"
The captain and the first mate started laughing manically.
Robin couldn't bear to see this, so she walked away while Adam asked.
"Captain, aren't we going to get supplies first?"
Tyler immediately ran in front of Adam and patted him on the shoulder.
"Adam, I will give you this sacred task. You can take Gojo with you. As for others, stay on the ship! If someone tries to attack the ship, you can retaliate."
"But if someone comes close, try to hide inside the ship first! I don't want you to show your face now."
"Yes, Captain!"
The six crew members saluted him.
"Robin, I will leave the task of bringing Laffitte to you." Tyler shouted.
"What if he doesn't come?"
"Just tell him I will turn this world upside down!"
Tyler hurriedly answered before running towards the island with Frank.
Both of them quickly disappeared from the sight of other crew members.
"Then, shall we leave?"
Robin turned towards Adam and Gojo, asking with a smile.
"Hmm!"
Both of them nodded and left.
Only six of the new members were left on the ship. Of course, there was also Miya, who had just woken up.
Just as the doctor promised, two days were enough for Miya to wake up. But she still couldn't move.
"Huh? Who are you?"
When Miya opened her eyes and saw a girl inside the room, she immediately got alert and shouted.
"Miss Miya!"
Her voice startled Pochi, who was sitting on a sofa and reading a book. She hurriedly stood up and ran next to Miya.
"You finally woke up, but Captain is not on the ship. By the way, my name is Pochi. I am a new member who recently joined the crew."
Hearing that, Miya lowered her guard and asked.
"How long have I been sleeping?"
Pochi rubbed her head and said.
"I have been in the crew for three days, but according to Adam, you have been sleeping for five or six days."
"I see."
Clack!
The door opened, and another woman walked in.
"Pochi, I heard a loud voice. What happened?"
"Peach, Miss Miya is awake. Can you make some food for her?" Pochi asked.
"Miss Miya, I'm glad you woke up."
Peach immediately smiled when she saw Miya awake.
"Just call me Miya! No need to add Miss. By the way, how many new members have joined?"
Seeing Peach, Miya couldn't help but feel strange.
After all, her Captain didn't plan to recruit new members unless they were needed.
"Captain recruited seven people on Totato Island, but only one of them is part of the main crew."
"He is a doctor named Gojo. He is the one who healed you. As for us, we are a part of a fleet that the Captain is trying to establish."
Pochi explained.
"Then, Miya, I will bring you some soup."
Peach left the room after saying it.
