Chapter 177 - CHAPTER 177

"You are… Chinatsu?"

Kakashi, pinned to the ground by the overwhelming gravity, struggled to lift his head and look at her. Although Chinatsu was now in her Kaguya Jinchūriki form, the changes to her appearance weren't so drastic that he couldn't recognize her.

Kakashi was surprised.

Madara, however, was completely shocked.

"You mean… she's that girl from before?!"

Madara couldn't believe it—or perhaps he simply didn't want to. The girl who had fought him on nearly equal footing not long ago had now become this overwhelmingly powerful.

Chinatsu remained silent, maintaining the cold, detached aura surrounding her. She knew that the moment she opened her mouth, that overwhelming sense of dominance would probably disappear.

Instead, she simply looked at the two of them.

The crimson Rinne Sharingan on her forehead slowly began to rotate.

An irresistible genjutsu descended upon them.

However, each of them witnessed a completely different illusion.

Obito saw the truth behind everything.

Every sacrifice…

Every battle…

Every tear…

Everything he had endured since Rin's death had all been part of Madara's carefully orchestrated plan.

He had merely been used.

Madara saw a truth that struck even deeper.

The stone tablet of the Uchiha…

The awakening of the Rinnegan…

The Infinite Tsukuyomi…

Every step he believed had been his own choice had actually been manipulated by Black Zetsu from the very beginning.

Even he…

…had only been a pawn.

The illusion faded.

Obito slowly turned his head toward Madara.

"Madara…"

Madara merely lowered his head.

"I admit… I lost."

There was no anger in his voice.

Only exhaustion.

His entire life had been built upon a lie.

Obito, meanwhile, trembled violently.

He had personally attacked Konoha…

Released the Nine-Tails…

Killed his own teacher…

Indirectly caused Kushina's death…

The weight of those sins crashed down on him all at once.

Because of the crushing gravity, none of them could even stand.

Only Kakashi could speak.

Chinatsu quietly switched dimensions once more with Amenominaka, replacing the super-gravity world with the frozen dimension.

The pressure vanished.

A cold wind swept across the endless field of ice.

She continued to remain silent, allowing Kakashi to speak with Obito.

After all…

If she suddenly said something like,

"Grandpa Madara, stop worrying. Hashirama is already waiting for you in the Pure Land."

…the entire atmosphere would instantly collapse.

The conversation between the three continued for quite some time.

In the end…

Chinatsu simply spoke a single sentence.

"Take care of yourselves."

With that, she opened another Yomotsu Hirasaka portal and stepped back into the real world, leaving behind two emotionally shattered Uchihas and one exhausted Kakashi.

Within the frozen world…

Madara quietly released the Impure World Reincarnation.

His body gradually dissolved into countless glowing particles.

There was no longer any reason for him to remain.

Hashirama…

Tobirama…

His younger brothers…

Perhaps it was finally time to meet them again.

Obito remained where he was.

He wished to continue living…

Yet he also knew he no longer had the right to.

The countless innocent lives lost during the Nine-Tails attack…

Minato…

Kushina…

Those sins could never simply disappear.

Watching the two depart, Kakashi slowly exhaled.

He wasn't relieved because Madara had vanished.

He was relieved because…

At last…

The misunderstanding between him and Obito had finally been resolved.

The greatest burden he had carried for years had finally disappeared.

"Well…"

"I should head back."

Kakashi looked around.

"…"

"…"

The endless frozen world stretched as far as the eye could see.

"…Right."

"I still have to figure out how to leave first."

Thankfully…

He still had Kamui.

So began Kakashi's long and rather painful journey of searching for the correct dimensional exit.

Meanwhile…

Back in the real world…

Chinatsu had already created a wooden reclining chair with Wood Release and was comfortably lying on it.

Sleeping.

Time slowly passed.

The ruins of the Uchiha Compound gradually disappeared beneath countless hardworking hands.

Or rather…

Countless Shadow Clones.

Naruto had summoned hundreds of clones.

Each clone continuously formed Rasengans, using the spinning chakra to blast away piles of rubble with incredible efficiency.

Sasuke wasn't much slower.

His Perfect Susanoo acted like a gigantic construction machine.

The enormous purple warrior simply grabbed entire sections of collapsed buildings and casually tossed them aside.

There was no need for elegance.

Efficiency came first.

After those two monsters…

The third fastest worker was…

Hidan.

Unlike Naruto and Sasuke, he possessed no overpowered ninjutsu.

No Wood Release.

No Shadow Clones.

No giant chakra avatar.

What he did possess…

…was pure enthusiasm.

"I can accept losing to those two brats!"

"They're practically monsters!"

"But I absolutely refuse to lose to the rest of you!"

He swung his three-bladed scythe like a shovel.

Although the sight looked rather ridiculous…

His unbelievable stamina and insane work ethic allowed him to keep up surprisingly well.

Meanwhile…

Nagato quietly stood nearby.

After losing the Rinnegan, he should have become permanently blind.

Fortunately…

Naruto's Yang Release had regenerated a brand-new pair of eyes for him.

Although they were ordinary eyes…

Nagato didn't regret losing the Rinnegan.

That overwhelming power had also been an enormous burden.

Without it…

His body actually felt lighter.

Strength could always be earned again.

Nearly half a day later…

Kakashi finally managed to locate the proper dimensional pathway with Kamui and returned to the real world.

At almost the same time…

The ruins of the Uchiha Compound had finally been cleared away.

The Uchiha Clan's remaining wealth could be divided into three categories.

Money.

Enough wealth to rival that of an entire hidden village.

Ninja Tools.

Almost every weapon was of exceptional quality.

Scrolls.

Approximately eighty percent contained Fire Release techniques.

Ten percent contained Lightning Release.

The remaining ten percent consisted of various other elemental and miscellaneous ninjutsu.

Kakuzu's eyes practically sparkled.

If Chinatsu weren't standing nearby…

He would have happily rolled around on top of those treasure chests.

Just imagining all that money belonging to him filled him with indescribable joy.

As he carefully counted every stack of bills and every gold coin, a greedy smile slowly spread across his face.

Once everything had been packed away…

Chinatsu finally made her decision.

It was time to leave Konoha.

Their next destination…

The Land of Whirlpools.

She wondered how far construction had progressed.

But even if nothing had been completed…

It didn't matter.

With her current Wood Release, building a city was no longer an impossible task.

More importantly…

According to Isshiki, the Otsutsuki Main Family would need at least five years to locate this world.

Five years.

That was enough time to prepare.

Enough time to grow stronger.

And…

Enough time to finally enjoy the peaceful life she had been working toward for so long.

Raising one hand, Chinatsu opened Yomotsu Hirasaka.

A massive black dimensional rift appeared before everyone, connected directly to the Land of Whirlpools.

She smiled faintly.

"Everyone ready?"

"Let's go."
