Chapter 9 - Friendly looking

".." Everyone remained silent. All of them stared at the village,it was... Beautiful. They looked amazed.

Water running gently through the river,so crystal clear that rocks on the bottom were visible clearly.

Beautiful flowers surrounded the village, adding to the beauty.Red spider lilies bloomed and danced with the wind, Lotuses bloomed in the near by pond.Pink and white,as devine as lotuses were expected.

Bushes of blue roses grew on the hill of the village.Like heaven on earth was this village .

The villagers looked so kind and friendly, the air around them so peaceful. One woman carrying a basket of dried clothes noticed them. She wore simple medieval time clothes,She smiled at them ."Oh,I haven't seen you three around here. Are you three travellers by chance? Come along,my home is just nearby.Have a cup of tea" She walked off towards her home, elegantly carrying her basket.So-yeon looked at both of the two guys, who simply followed,so that's what she did too.

"I didn't expect them to be as friendly as they looked" Hyung-woo whispers to the two.A small polite smile plastered on his face.

"I kinda judged them off their vibe"Min-jae whispers back.

They reached a humble home,The house was warm and simple as they walked in.

Hyung-woo glances out side the window and spots two young children playing houses. His smile softens with nostalgia.

"Please, have a seat! We don't get travellers often. You three are the first in a decade." She smiles as she places a cup of warm, freshly brewed green tea infront of each of them.

Min-jae stares at the green liquid for a couple of moments, before taking a sip.

"It tastes...good?"

He takes a bigger sip, enjoying the tea without paying attention to anything else.

"Thankyou so much,it was really necessary." Hyung-woo bows his read in a thanks just slightly before taking a sip of his.

So-yeon glances at both of them enjoying their cup of tea.She glances down on her's, slightly hesitant before taking the cup and taking a small sip.The bitterness hits her at first, her face twist in disgust but she forces it down her throat putting the tea down..

"I knew I didn't like green tea"

Her expression changes into surprise. The after taste of the tea hits her with a gentle and calming sense,a herbal and warm taste remaining on her tongue.

She takes another sip and has to bear the bitterness again, but the after taste makes it worth it for her .

Hyung-woo pauses, his polite smile still remains but it's frozen.Like something had dawned on him.He quickly shakes any kind of suspicion off.

After tea all three of them leave the Friendly lady's house.

"The tea was awesome! That's what I call hospitality!" Min-jae exclaims.A huge smile on his face.

"I am not surprised,I grew up with this kind of hospitality everywhere." So-yeon shrugs.

"You are quite lucky then" Hyung-woo teases before his attention his stolen by the hill covered in blue.

"Look!" He points at the hill. Both So-yeon and Min-jae turn to look quickly."Wow.. Let's go there !!" So-yeon's whole body vibrates with excitement before dashing uphill. The air is cool as she runs up with only excitement written on her face.Min-jae runs up behind her while Hyung-woo simply walks while enjoying the wind and peace.

An friendly looking man watches from afar with a sweetened smile as the three run up.

"Naive youths..".He calmly wakes off into an alley.
