"Hmmm… A good subject."
A bearded adult man looked at the eight-year-old girl in front of him with a satisfied expression.
The little girl, none other than Reyna, lowered her head in fear. She had absolutely no idea what the man was going to do to her.
"Come with me. Starting today, you'll be my adopted daughter."
The man turned and walked away.
Having no other choice, Reyna reluctantly followed him.
…
"So, you were taken in by your adoptive father?"
"Mhm!" Reyna nodded slightly, a faint smile appearing on her face. "At first, I was really scared of him. After all, he looked really scary. But it turns out I was wrong. He's actually a very kind and caring person. It's just that he doesn't know how to show his sincerity."
Raven fell silent, imagining an old tsundere man.
"Damn… that's disgusting."
Goosebumps spread across his body. If it were a woman, he might still be able to tolerate it, but not a man. Just imagining it made him feel sick.
