"[Ding! A side quest has been issued!]"
The system notification startled Raven.
"A side quest? What's that, System?"
"[Ding! Defeat a level 45 monster and fulfill Melissa's desire for revenge!
[Reward: Unlock a character.]"
"Unlock a character?"
Raven scratched his head.
"What does that mean?"
"[In short, the system will designate Melissa as a Chosen Woman, Host! This is your chance to win her over.]"
Raven's expression tensed.
He had wondered before why Melissa hadn't been designated as one of the system's Chosen Women, especially given her beautiful appearance.
But now, the system was giving him exactly what he wanted.
"All right, I'll do it!"
Defeating a level 45 monster was indeed extremely difficult, considering he was only level 22.
However, there was a way to do it, and Raven had already figured it out.
"Just because you can't defeat it doesn't mean I can't," Raven said casually as he slowly stood up.
