Several days after defeating magnamalo and lunagaron he remained in his thunderborn form but Last night when he went to sleep he went through a deep metamorphosis becoming an Apex zinogre combined with his new thunderborn existence he was basically unstoppable as lightning sparked off him statically passively the remains of magnamalo laided next to him he had eaten everything including the malicious orb A natural monster part when it comes to magnamalo absorbing his enemies malice and turning it into power this orb is condensed malice although this one was relatively small so he swallowed it whole Arkon had entered and began scrubbing him causing his fur to get wet relieving the static charge as he gently nudged the child arkon laughed before speaking arkon:"I know I missed you to hope you win today" after getting scrubbed down he stood up and shook the soap and water off as he approached the arena door looking directly across from him the other door was already open and in the arena an brute tigrex was sitting in the arena looking around confused the crowd cheered as white thunder bugs gently floated out of the corridor causing tigrex to look at them with interest suddenly Garret slowly revealed himself to the public eye causing the people to cheer as the brute tigrex roared in aggressiveness at the new arrival charging straightforward Garret jumped over the brute tigrex before howling charging electrical energy as a veil of electrical power swirled around him causing tigrex to look in awe.
Meanwhile on the outskirts of the town an large kushla daora approached walking with pride and authority as it got close to the town poachers sounded their drums and hunting horns as citizens began to evacuate as Garret delivered an Electric swam of thunderbugs people started hearing the sirens and became confused even in the vip stands The arena Masters all stood up and looked around and confusion wondering why they were sounding the sirens arkon pointed out the window as they looked up several fireworks exploded releasing blue smoke as everyone's scattered they all realized what this was an elder dragon approached them immediately as they were trying to evacuate back at the front gate some idiot decided to start shooting ballista bolts at kushla daora immediately the great wind dragon locked onto the ballista and breathed in as it thrusted its head outward unleashing a burst of wind that blew apart the wooden tower before flying back and thrusting its wings forward creating a tornado that swept forward and blew down the gate sending wood everywhere as it walked through the town it's original calm state was interrupted as it roared summoning the winds creating a massive tornado that started sweeping houses down and destroying things as people began to evacuate Garret looked around confused wondering what was going on and so was his opponent.
Suddenly as he looked up an massive chunk of compact stones slammed into the chains above the arena breaking them as they evacuated not many people escape as kushla daora approach of the arena broke things tearing wood free pulling stones and people into its tornado as brute tigrex turned towards kushla daora and roared as tigrex jumped into the stands charging forward and leaping into the air foolish as it got swept into The tornado before being flung out as it slammed into the VIP stands Breaking the glass arkon dodged as The others scattered as kushla daora folded its wings around itself tightening the tornado around it while pulling in any surrounding air with the glass shattered arkon was being pulled outside grabbing onto one of the iron strips connected to the glass hid hands slipped as he was thrown into the arena Garret noticing this ran forward and stopped directly under arkon as he fell on Garrett back arkon eyes opened in suprise the zinogre saved him as arkon slid off his body kushla daora finished charging it's attack as it spread it to wings out unleashing a burst of wind that pushed anything that wasn't nailed down or secured tightly enough into the air and away from it Amelia shouted for arkon but alister pulled her away.
Before Speaking alister:"don't worry he will survive but if you don't live to see another day that kid's gonna be more broken than anything" Amelia sighed and ran away hoping her baby boy would be safe as kushla daora landed in the arena it roared in anger and dominance its roar carried an gust of wind as Garret curled his tail around arkon as he withstood the wind current noticing an flash bug clinging to the wall immediately Garret howled sending a strike of lightning near the flash bug startling it as Garrett turned away A bright flash of light appeared and kushla daora cried out in confusion and then anger as it began to thrash and crash around Garret picked up arkon by the scruff of his shirt and ran towards one of the arena walls as he jumped but he didn't catch enough air time as he fell his front paws gripped onto the edge of the wall as he pushed up getting out of the area and immediately started running away carrying arkon by his shirt running weast meanwhile in the arena kushla daora looked around confused it's opponent was gone as it roared and began to nest in the area.
As Garret ran through the Forest to jumped over fallen in dead tree dodged branches he could only think of one thing and that was how he was free finally after months in the years he was free of that cursed Arena technically he could be considered a new sub species but aside from that he was free now all that was left to do was to find a new place to live and arkon might as well come with him I mean why not it only makes sense he could call it returning the favor for all the times he took care of him and treated his wounds things were looking up
