Kaelen was too lazy to play fake socializing games with Elric. He spoke exactly two sentences, then immediately stated his purpose bluntly.
"Lord Elric, actually I have a matter I want to discuss with you."
Elric was stunned. He looked at Kaelen's solemn expression. He thought for a moment, then waved his hand for all of his people to retreat outside. Kaelen also told the guards to retreat completely. Only Elric, Kaelen, and the children remained in the hall.
Ivy stepped forward. She took out a jade piece carved with a soundproofing array. She transmitted her Divine Energy into it to activate the array. An invisible shield was erected immediately.
She finished everything. Ivy then retreated back.
Kaelen took a sip of winter melon tea. He then spoke:
"Lord Elric, do you want your mate and son to be free to walk around like these children?"
