"Because I've seen this Succubus Devil before."
"Master, you've seen the succubus?!" Denji jerked his head around in shock. "What does she look like? Are they huge? Is her body good?"
"Whether it's her face or her figure, she's absolutely stunning. Any guy who sees her would practically beg to be played with by a succubus for a whole day."
"Could you handle that, Arata?" Himeno asked.
"I'm immortal. Going at it non-stop for seven days and seven nights wouldn't be a problem."
"Master, I wanna do it too!!" Denji yelled. "If I run out of stamina, you can just feed me some blood!"
"Hey, you two. Are we going out there to subjugate a succubus or to conquer one?" As a woman, Himeno felt more than a little jealous of the succubus's abilities.
"We'll look at her face and decide then. The difference between sleeping with her and putting her to sleep is just a split-second decision," Arata offered a highly practical suggestion.
The group returned to Division 4 to organize their squad. Since the Succubus Devil could mind-control men, everyone except Arata was ordered to stay behind at Tokyo Public Safety Headquarters. First, it was to prevent the headquarters from being defenseless if other devils showed up in Tokyo. Second, it avoided unnecessary trouble. If the men of Division 4 got mind-controlled by the Succubus Devil, they wouldn't just be useless—they'd become massive liabilities.
As for the ladies of Division 4, this was their time to shine.
"Are you sure you don't need us to tag along?" Aki Hayakawa asked.
"You guys coming would only get in my way. It's better if you stay behind. Also, spread the word that the succubus is specifically targeting virgins, just in case more virgins end up dying full of regrets before they can even finish the deed."
"Master, you aren't just trying to hog the succubus all to yourself, are you?"
"Your master isn't that kind of person. But hey, do you want her corpse when we're done?"
"I don't want a corpse!"
"Kobeni, Power, Himeno, Kana Okura, the four of you are coming with me."
With that, the group piled into the car. The men of Division 4 watched the women drive off, hoping for their triumphant return.
After a while, the car reached the outskirts of the city. Along the way, they rolled down the windows. The gentle breeze poured into the car, blowing through their hair and giving everyone an incredibly relaxing vibe.
"Arata, what kind of abilities does the Succubus Devil have?" Himeno asked from the driver's seat.
"There's no such thing as a Succubus Devil. 'Succubus' is just a random codename Public Safety slapped on her. As for what kind of devil she actually is, we won't know until we see her."
As they talked, the car drove past the old, abandoned shack where the Bat Devil used to hang out. Power pressed her face against the glass and specifically took a few extra looks at it. They didn't stop until the car reached a mountainous area on the outskirts of the city, where everyone finally stepped out.
"The car can't go any further on this road. We'll have to walk from here." Arata killed the engine and stuffed the keys into his pocket.
"Are you sure the devil is here?" Himeno scanned their surroundings but didn't notice anything unusual.
"We're already here anyway, it doesn't hurt to look."
Arata stood in place and slowly closed his eyes. A sudden gust of wind whipped up around them, traveling straight up the mountain path. Five minutes later, he located a well-hidden cave.
"Wait here." Arata set up a mirror on the ground right where they stood, then rapidly dashed toward the cave's location.
In no time at all, he was standing at the entrance. He summoned another two-meter-tall mirror to act as a Mirror Gate. The portals connected perfectly. Arata reached his hand into the mirror at the cave, and his hand popped out of the mirror waiting at the bottom of the mountain.
Himeno instantly understood the signal. She led the girls straight through the Mirror Gate, arriving at the cave entrance where Arata was waiting in a flash. They peered into the opening. The cave was bottomlessly deep, giving off a highly ominous vibe before they even stepped inside.
"This should be the place. I can smell the stench of blood coming from inside."
Right as he spoke, a gust of wind blew out from the cave. The sickening, metallic stench of blood was so strong that everyone instantly pinched their noses.
"Kobeni, are you scared?" Arata asked.
"Master, I'm not scared." Kobeni fought back her terror, gripping her knife tightly with both hands.
"Senior Himeno, you and Kana Okura guard the entrance. The three of us will go inside."
"Alright, just be careful in there."
With the roles assigned, Arata led Kobeni and Power deeper into the cave. The light gradually faded. Arata pulled out a heavy-duty flashlight he had prepped beforehand, instantly illuminating the rugged, uneven path ahead.
"The Great Power smells it. There's the stench of men's blood coming from deep inside." Power clutched her brick in her hand as she followed closely beside Arata. Kobeni trailed right behind them.
"What's that thing?" Power noticed a small piece of pale white meat lying on the ground ahead. She walked over, picked it up, and started inspecting it.
"Hurry up and throw that away. That's a dick."
Power tilted her head, completely unfamiliar with the concept.
"Basically, it's a man's family jewels."
"Ah?!" Kobeni was thoroughly disgusted. She never expected the very first thing she saw in here would be someone's severed junk.
"If I'm not mistaken, that female devil has been harvesting men's jewels."
"That's so... perverted."
"What's so great about collecting those things anyway? I've seen Denji's, and there's really nothing to look at."
"Uh... he showed it to you?"
"No, he just didn't close the bathroom door when he was showering. I saw it when I walked in," Power said casually and openly. Behind them, Kobeni's face was already burning red hot.
They continued inward for about fifty meters until the path sloped downward. Sliding down the slope, the inner chamber of the cave finally appeared before them. The flashlight beam swept forward, illuminating man after man. They were lying completely naked on the ground, their inner thighs reduced to a bloody mess, missing their most vital parts. Their hands and feet were chained together with heavy iron links.
"This is..."
"Master, are all of them being mind-controlled by the devil?"
"They aren't being controlled." Arata continued walking forward. The flashlight beam swept across the cavern. A few of the conscious, mutilated men had already noticed someone approaching them.
Arata stopped next to a man who still had his eyes open. "Are you guys alright?"
"Do I look like I'm alright to you?"
The man coughed weakly. He looked incredibly haggard. His body seemed relatively sturdy, but right now, every ounce of his spirit had been completely drained.
"Where is the woman who brought you here?"
"She went out, but she brings new men back every single time."
"What happened down there?" Power pointed and asked.
"It was... eaten by her." The man gritted his teeth, the agonizing phantom pain of his missing manhood still tormenting him.
"She ate it?! The Great Power actually thought about chopping those things off after seeing one, but this devil is even more ruthless than the Great Power!"
The mutilated man was rather caught off guard by Power's words.
"Don't be scared, we're Public Safety Devil Hunters. She just doesn't really know how to talk like a normal person."
"Public Safety Devil Hunters! Hurry, please get me out of here!"
"Kobeni, head back outside and have senior Himeno call for some ambulances." Arata handed his spare flashlight to Kobeni, instructing her to retrace their steps. He decided to stay behind and continue interrogating them for clues, determined to figure out exactly what kind of background this dick-eating devil had.
