Ten Minutes Ago.
When Xinran was busy fighting with the demonic vessel, Zephyr made his way into the deepest area of the royal mausoleum and, according to what Xinran had told him, started putting the old relics near their respective owners' graves.
For each grave, Zephyr held a five-second-long silence before moving on to the next one as he didn't have enough time.
'According to what Xinran said, Layla asking us to put these relics in their right places is a kind of a trial for us…'
The nation of Jauregia had already faded away in the long annals of history; there was no reason to dig out the relics and return them to their respective owners after such a long time had already passed.
Yet, Layla insisted on doing it.
Xinran highly suspected that the returning of the relics had a deeper meaning behind it, and that's why she asked Zephyr to do it while she herself held the demonic vessel back.
