Chapter 25 - Chapter 25:-

The old man who had come to discuss the marriage…

walked inside the haveli with his daughter.

A servant led them to the sitting hall…

and within a few moments, Vivek Verma arrived.

Old man (folding his hands):

"Namaste, sir… my name is Ramu… and this is my daughter, Pooja…"

"We've come from a distant village… I want to get her married… but I don't have the money…"

Vivek smiled gently and gestured for them to sit…

He offered them water…

and then, holding Ramu's hand warmly, said—

Vivek: "You don't need to worry at all…"

"As long as Vivek Verma is alive… no daughter's marriage will ever stop because of money."

Tears welled up in Ramu's eyes.

Vivek continued: "Just tell me… have you found a groom?"

Ramu: "Yes, sir… a boy from a nearby village… his name is Umesh… the match is already fixed…"

Vivek nodded immediately—

Vivek: "Then this wedding is my responsibility now…"

"When is the date?"

Ramu replied—

"After 15 days."

And from that very moment…

Preparations for yet another wedding began in the haveli.

On the other side…

Vikram sat at the police station, buried in files.

His eyes were on the papers…

but his mind was somewhere else—

• Salim's case

• Komal's fear

• The secret of the haveli

Everything kept circling in his thoughts.

The village and the haveli began to light up once again…

Streets glowing with lights…

decorations all around the haveli…

the distant sound of drums…

Everything looked normal.

But this time…

Nothing was normal.

Days passed…

Now only 10 days were left for the wedding.

And suddenly—

Salma arrived at the police station.

There was anger in her eyes…

and pain too.

Salma (raising her voice at Vikram):

"You used to make big promises…"

"What happened now?"

"Where is your law… your justice?"

"Or have you also been sold to this system…?"

Vikram stood there silently…

Head lowered…

As if he had answers…

but couldn't say them.

After a few moments of silence…

Salma broke down crying…

and walked away.

At that very moment…

Vikram made a decision.

He got into his jeep immediately…

and drove straight to Komal's house.

Komal was standing right at the door.

Vikram looked straight into her eyes and said—

Vikram: "Listen, Komal… I know…"

"Something wrong happened to you in that haveli…"

"Don't be afraid…"

"I'm here… nothing will happen to you…"

"Just tell me the truth… once."

Fear was clearly visible on Komal's face.

She lowered her gaze.

Komal (in a trembling voice):

"Please forgive me, sir…"

"I can't say anything…"

"I don't want to ruin my married life…"

"Please… just leave…"

Vikram tried to convince her…

asked again and again…

But every time—

Silence.

Then she said softly—

Komal: "Sir… my husband and mother-in-law have gone to the market…"

"If they see you here…"

"it won't be good…"

And with that—

She slowly closed the door.

Vikram turned back.

As the jeep moved forward…

his thoughts became even more tangled—

• "What really happens inside that haveli…?"

• "Why is Komal so terrified…?"

The night kept getting darker…

And with it—

The mystery deepened.

Is Komal afraid to speak the truth…?

Or has someone forced her into silence?

Will Vikram uncover the truth in time…

or will another wedding bury yet another dark secret forever?

What do you think, what is the real truth.

Will Vikram ever be able to solve this case?

And what will happen next?
