Chapter 230 - Thank You

Hana took a deep, shuddering breath, her fingers tightening inside her pockets. She had faced down Class-4 mutated hordes without flinching, but standing in front of these four males, trying to vocalize thoughts she had spent a lifetime burying, felt like jumping off a cliff without a parachute.

"When I first woke up in this beastworld..." Hana began slowly, her brown eyes remaining fixed on the table, "I had one goal: survive. I didn't care about tribes, I didn't care about legacy, and I certainly didn't care about... mates—but apparently, having a mate, or mates, rather—was quite a huge step to my survival. So, I took each and everyone of you… out of a great need to survive."

She didn't talk about her debts, she didn't talk about the system quests, but the words she said were enough to cover the entire premise of it. No need for word for word confession.

The four of them remained completely silent, their breathing shallow as they listened.
