Night.
Gojo Satoru pushed open the meeting hall doors.
He immediately saw Geto Suguru sitting at the table, with a small plate of snacks, a bowl of millet rice, a bottle of sake, and a small white porcelain cup before him. He was leisurely drinking sake and chatting with Ieiri Shoko.
At the head of the table sat Yaga Masamichi, and next to him was Kusakabe Atsuya, looking like he was questioning his life.
He flashed a wide grin.
"Suguru, I knew you'd show up, you bastard!"
Geto Suguru looked up and saw Gojo Satoru.
Despite having just achieved the feat of killing Ryomen Sukuna twenty times, Gojo showed no signs of fatigue. He lifted his blindfold, revealing his sky-blue Six Eyes, with a wide smile on his face.
"Yo, I've heard a lot about you from Shoko. You've been quite busy since I died."
Geto Suguru raised his cup in a toast from afar.
"It's good to see you so energetic. It fits my impression of you... I can't imagine you being anything else."
Gojo Satoru laughed loudly.
"You really have the nerve to say that! I've only looked pathetic three times in my life, and you saw every single one clearly. Seeing you again makes me a bit embarrassed."
Geto Suguru's eyes dimmed slightly.
He knew exactly what those "three pathetic times" were:
The first was Amanai Riko's death, when he was nearly killed by Fushiguro Toji.
The second was the night they parted ways, Gojo's furious Six Eyes glaring at his back—that anger and confusion still echoed in his heart.
The last was before his death, when Gojo came to see him off; having seen Gojo's face, he, who still had room to struggle, suddenly died in peace.
"You don't look 'embarrassed' right now," Geto Suguru smiled. "Did you also figure out, like Shoko, that Mahito would eventually resurrect me, which is why you're not surprised at all?"
"No, I didn't realize that at all," Gojo Satoru admitted frankly. "My view was the opposite of Shoko's. Since your body was already occupied by Kenjaku, I thought Mahito wouldn't resurrect you out of respect for Kenjaku. I was wrong. It seems that while Kenjaku and Mahito cooperate well, they don't actually get along."
Geto Suguru and Gojo Satoru laughed together.
They indeed didn't get along—so much so that before Mahito received Gojo's call, he had already resurrected Geto Suguru. Geto had no intention of exposing himself and had been hiding his identity until now. Seeing that the conditions for revenge were all met, he came to Tokyo Jujutsu High.
On the other hand, Geto Suguru was confident his arrival would be kept secret because everyone currently at Tokyo Jujutsu High was a die-hard Gojo loyalist. As long as Gojo decided to help him, his information would remain hidden...
...until he was fully grown and could deal a fatal blow to Kenjaku!
Gojo Satoru hurried over, picked up a cup of sake from Ieiri Shoko's table—ignoring her sudden cold snort—and lightly clinked glasses with Geto Suguru.
The two best friends downed the alcohol simultaneously.
Kusakabe Atsuya was no longer surprised. He had even set his inseparable long sword against the wall.
Before this, he could never have imagined a Special Grade Curse User invading Tokyo Jujutsu High so peacefully.
He had to admit, he simply hadn't seen enough of the world.
While shoveling rice, he said to Yaga Masamichi:
"I can imagine how much of a headache you had back then. As the boss and teacher of these two Special Grades, your insomnia must have been so bad that even sunglasses couldn't hide the dark circles."
Yaga Masamichi drank silently and said plainly:
"I got used to it."
What a "got used to it"!
Kusakabe Atsuya was speechless.
Ieiri Shoko snatched her cup back.
"What about your students?"
"Still fighting in the Dream Walk Migration," Gojo Satoru said cheerfully.
He bypassed Ieiri Shoko and sat naturally on Geto Suguru's other side.
Even though he was witnessing his best friend's resurrection, his demeanor was even more natural than Shoko's, with no sense of distance.
Ieiri Shoko looked at the sky outside the meeting hall; dusk had arrived.
"Don't they eat?" she asked.
"Points are all-purpose in that regard," Gojo Satoru shrugged. "For just two or three points, you can enjoy a day's worth of nutritionally complete meals. If you're willing to spend ten times that—ten or twenty points—you can even eat food prepared by master chefs. Even more outrageous are the hundred- and two-hundred-point options."
Ieiri Shoko's lip twitched.
"Who would be stupid enough to spend one hundred or two hundred points on food? I remember one hundred points can buy a resurrection, right? Buying a meal with your life?"
"For one hundred to two hundred points, you can enjoy the highest level of a state banquet."
Gojo Satoru smacked his lips and said with admiration:
"It's really good."
"It's you, you spendthrift idiot!" Ieiri Shoko yelled.
Geto Suguru clapped lightly.
"That's just like you, Satoru. But I suppose for a Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer, these hundred or two hundred points are completely trivial."
Gojo Satoru snapped his fingers and said excitedly:
"Guess how many points I get on average for fighting Sukuna once?"
Seeing Gojo's expression, it was clear the amount was incredibly massive. Otherwise, with Gojo's personality, he would have casually dropped a number to humble-brag.
He couldn't even hide it, meaning the amount was staggering even to him.
Ieiri Shoko thought for a moment and said tentatively:
"A few million?"
Gojo Satoru held up one hand, fingers spread.
He smiled.
"Five hundred million."
Kusakabe Atsuya, who was wetting his throat with sake, nearly spat it out in shock.
He coughed loudly, ignoring the trio's reunion, and shouted:
"No way! That's too much of a difference! I remember a death match for a Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer averages around five thousand, right? A Special Grade death match jumps straight to five hundred million?!"
There is indeed a vast difference between a Grade 1 Sorcerer and a Special Grade Sorcerer, but this was too much!
Historically, there were cases of many Grade 1 Sorcerers overwhelming a Special Grade, so the gap shouldn't be this astronomical.
Yaga Masamichi, however, didn't doubt it.
He was only briefly surprised before calming down.
He said in a muffled voice:
"Because the combatants are 'Ryomen Sukuna' and 'Gojo Satoru,' right?"
One is recognized as the King of Curses and holds the title of "Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer in History"; the other possesses the Six Eyes and Limitless, holding the title of "Strongest of the Modern Era."
Thinking about it that way, it's no wonder the points from a clash between these two levels are so high.
Kusakabe Atsuya understood.
"I suddenly get it."
"The current Sukuna hasn't reached his prime yet. In fact, our exchanges are very quick because that guy doesn't fear a direct duel at all. He doesn't even buy Information Locks, so I just use points to confirm his resurrection point and launch consecutive strikes, forcing him into a loop of being killed before he can even summon a Kogane to lock his information."
Gojo Satoru rested his hand on the table and said thoughtfully:
"Also, Sukuna is very good at utilizing rules. Every time he resurrects, I can feel his strength growing more or less. I'm certain that since my strikes are timely, he can't use a Kogane to teleport fingers to restore his power. So... I can only think of one possibility."
Kusakabe Atsuya's expression twisted.
"You mean, the points in the Dream Walk Migration can actually substitute for Sukuna's Fingers to help him restore his full power?"
"Exactly," Gojo Satoru nodded and smiled. "That's really bad news, isn't it?"
"Worse than I imagined!" Kusakabe Atsuya clutched his head.
Everyone knew what a terrifying result this would lead to.
If Ryomen Sukuna could restore his twenty-finger strength through the Dream Walk Migration, what about the other Special Grade cursed objects, Sukuna's Fingers, scattered within the game?
Wouldn't that be equivalent to Ryomen Sukuna possessing the power of forty fingers?!
"The situation is worse than you think," Gojo Satoru said calmly.
"That guy is a bastard, but he's clever. He'll definitely use some kind of Binding Vow to utilize those extra fingers instead of just eating them to gain forty-finger strength. That would be inefficient. I think he'll grow to be even stronger than his prime a thousand years ago by the end of the year."
Kusakabe Atsuya swallowed hard, unable to speak.
What was Ryomen Sukuna's combat power like at his peak a thousand years ago?
Put it this way: Ryomen Sukuna single-handedly beat down the entire world!
This included the regular armies of the time, wilderness forces, and even deities.
And now, he's about to become even stronger?!
Kusakabe couldn't help but feel pain and fear.
