Years earlier, Alfred’s late grandfather had forced his father to sign a binding contract requiring the Stanley family to shelter him for 20 years. He had two years left before he would be expelled from the Stanley Mansion  forever.
To Alfred this meant two years of protection, access and opportunity. Most people would have panicked but not Alfred he actually smiled, because to him, the equation was simple:
Two years + $500 billion = an empire.
If he had to leave the Stanleys in two years… then he would leave as something they could never ignore again. From that day forward, the quiet illegitimate son they called a burden disappeared—and something far more dangerous took his place. Working silently from the shadows of the very Family  that rejected him, Alfred began assembling the foundations of a hidden corporate kingdom. He acquired failing firms before anyone noticed their value, repositioned capital across continents, he also recruited brilliant minds loyal only to him and constructed a mysterious private consortium  whispered about in financial and business circles but never fully understood:

A.L. Consortium.
Just a name with pure influence, fear and results but no face and no public owner. 

While the Stanley family believed they were raising a powerless cub waiting to be cast out, Alfred Lancaster was quietly becoming a predator watching from the dark.
