"This fried egg is really good. Here, you should eat another one."
After speaking, Hermione calmly picked up the fried egg from her own plate and placed it onto Logan's.
Seamus, sitting nearby, stared at the egg with deep resentment written all over his face.
"That was the fried egg I saw first…" he muttered quietly. "And now it's been stolen and handed to Logan right in front of me. This is emotional damage."
Hermione slowly turned toward him.
Her smile looked extremely dangerous.
"Hm?" she asked softly. "What was that? The wind was a little loud just now, so I didn't hear you clearly."
Seamus instantly sensed death approaching.
He shook his head so violently it looked like it might fly off his neck.
"Nope! I didn't say anything! Must've been your imagination!"
Meanwhile, Neville looked completely confused.
"But there isn't any wind in here," he said honestly. "Hermione, are you mistaken?"
Before Neville could continue, Harry immediately shoved an entire fish ball into his mouth.
"Please," Harry whispered desperately, "just eat breakfast quietly and stop talking."
Neville blinked innocently while chewing.
Harry, on the other hand, looked exhausted.
He was genuinely happy that Hermione and Logan had reconciled, but something about the atmosphere this morning felt… strange.
The two of them suddenly seemed far closer than before.
Much closer.
What exactly happened between them?
Harry immediately began wildly theorizing in his head.
Unfortunately, because he had never experienced the devastating educational power of dramatic romance novels, his imagination completely failed him. After struggling for several minutes, he gave up and focused entirely on breakfast instead.
After all, today's Quidditch match was incredibly important.
As the Gryffindor Seeker, Harry carried enormous pressure on his shoulders. No matter how fiercely the two teams fought for points, a Seeker catching the Golden Snitch could instantly decide the entire game.
He absolutely could not afford to perform poorly.
Harry silently stuffed more food into his mouth while mentally preparing himself for the upcoming match.
Then suddenly, something caught his attention.
"Ron," Harry asked curiously, "when did you buy that green fur hat?"
Ron proudly adjusted the fluffy green hat sitting on his head.
"The weather's getting colder," he explained. "Fred and George bought it for me."
"What do you think? Looks good, right? And it's warm too."
Harry nodded seriously.
Honestly, it did suit him.
He even reached over and adjusted the crooked angle of the hat.
"Wear it properly," Harry said. "Don't let it fall off."
Not far away, Snape watched the interaction with growing disdain.
At this point, the Quidditch match was practically about to begin, yet Potter still looked completely relaxed.
Exactly like James Potter.
No sense of pressure. No sense of honor. Reckless and careless to the core.
And somehow, he hadn't inherited Lily's intelligence either.
Weak.
Snape narrowed his eyes slightly.
Perhaps he should personally go mock Potter before the match started. A few carefully chosen insults might completely destroy the boy's mentality before he even stepped onto the pitch.
Just imagining Harry's furious expression already brought Snape a strange sense of satisfaction.
However, before he could put the idea into action, his attention suddenly shifted elsewhere.
Near the edge of the hall entrance, Quirrell stood partially hidden in the shadows.
And he was staring directly at Harry.
The look in his eyes was unsettling.
Snape's expression immediately darkened.
For a long time now, he had felt something deeply wrong about Quirrell. Ever since the man returned to Hogwarts, the atmosphere around him had changed completely.
Cold.
Sinister.
Whenever Snape passed near him, he could sense an eerie chill emanating from his body.
At first, Snape assumed he was overthinking things.
But after returning from Knockturn Alley that night, he had accidentally spotted Quirrell secretly searching through parts of Hogwarts late at night. Unfortunately, unexpected circumstances forced Snape to leave before discovering what exactly Quirrell was after.
Still, that alone was enough to confirm his suspicions.
Something was very wrong with Quirrell.
And now, seeing him stare at Harry like that…
Snape's instincts immediately sharpened.
Could Quirrell be planning something during the Quidditch match?
If so, then it was Snape's responsibility to stop him.
No matter what happened, Harry Potter could not be allowed to die at Hogwarts.
.....
"Are you nervous?"
Oliver Wood looked down at Harry, who seemed almost tiny standing beside him in the locker room.
Harry gripped his broomstick tightly.
Of course he was nervous.
This was the first truly important competition of his life. Thousands of eyes would soon be watching him fly.
But people couldn't mature without overcoming fear.
Harry took a deep breath and steadied himself.
"Don't worry," he said firmly. "I'm ready."
This match…
He intended to win it.
Meanwhile, nearly an hour before the game officially began, Logan sat alone while staring at the newly appeared mission screen before him with a strange expression.
Mission Objective: The Silver Cup Hidden in the Forbidden ForestTime Limit: 120 Minutes
Mission Description:
You are gradually approaching the truth hidden within the past. Yet hesitation has begun to cloud your judgment.
Fortunately, an opportunity now lies before you.
Somewhere deep within the Forbidden Forest, Helga Hufflepuff deliberately left behind an important clue. With your intelligence and wisdom, you should be capable of locating the silver cup containing vital information.
Mission Rewards:
Clue From the Past ×1Legend Points ×8Substitute Doll ×1
Logan inhaled sharply.
Forget the eight Legend Points for a second.
The real treasure here was the Substitute Doll.
Just hearing the name alone made its purpose obvious.
A replacement death item.
A perfect scapegoat.
Something capable of saving his life at a critical moment.
The value of such an item was unimaginable.
But compared to the rewards, Logan was even more confused by the mission itself.
A silver cup left behind by Helga Hufflepuff?
He had heard of Hufflepuff's Cup before, of course. The legendary golden cup belonging to one of Hogwarts' founders was famous throughout the wizarding world.
Unfortunately, according to future events, that cup would eventually become one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.
As for where it currently was…
Well, somewhere hidden away by that noseless lunatic.
But this silver cup?
Logan had never heard of it before.
Was there also a bronze cup somewhere?
The mission itself was frustratingly vague.
The Forbidden Forest was enormous, yet the magical book's instructions basically amounted to:
"There's treasure hidden somewhere in the giant forest. Good luck finding it."
It felt exactly like some legendary pirate announcing before his death:
"I've hidden all my treasure in the New World! Go find it!"
Completely useless.
Trying to locate a single silver cup inside the Forbidden Forest was no different from searching for a needle in the ocean.
Still, eight Legend Points alone guaranteed this mission had to be completed.
More importantly, Logan understood one thing very clearly about the Grimoire.
It never issued impossible tasks.
Whenever the mission seemed absurdly difficult, there was usually a hidden clue somewhere.
Just like the previous "Bathroom Maniac" mission. At first, the clues had also seemed nonexistent, but eventually he discovered that the Wolf Witch Smoke allowed him to see the hidden message.
That meant this mission should also contain some kind of trick.
Logan carefully reviewed everything around him.
Left.
Right.
Nothing.
No hints whatsoever.
Then suddenly, his eyes narrowed slightly.
Wait.
Didn't he happen to possess a newly acquired item that might actually help him locate hidden objects?
