The following morning, Reiji woke before the sun had fully risen.
For several seconds, he remained still, staring at the ceiling.
His body felt different.
Not stronger.
Not yet.
But the strange heaviness that had followed him since the battle with the Demon Lord had eased slightly. His Mana System was still recovering, and most of his skills remained inaccessible, but the pain in his muscles had become manageable.
He opened his status.

[Origin Detection: 11%.]
Reiji's eyes narrowed.
The number had increased because of the Origin Fragment.
He had spent half the night thinking about it.
If one fragment could increase Origin Detection by four percent, then there had to be more of them.
The problem was that he had no idea where to find them.
He closed the status window and sat up.
Then he noticed someone sleeping beside him.
Aoi.
She had apparently fallen asleep on the edge of his bed after coming to check on him during the night.
