"Shit!"
Stormfront swore when she saw Greevs about to catch her.
"I don't remember pissing you off. Do we have to do this? Why don't we sit down and talk."
The scene felt exactly like a year ago when she was the one being hunted. Back then Homelander saved her. Now she had no time to call him. She stalled while flying toward Vought Tower.
"Is that so? I seem to remember someone once called me a garlic-stinking frog." Flesh tentacles burst from Ivan's back and shot at her like arrows.
"Damn it! This shit again!" Stormfront had learned last time. She threw lightning around her body and made a grid. The second an invisible tentacle hit the grid she could shift.
They tore across the sky at high speed.
At that speed civilians only saw two black specks flash by.
It was noon. Under the hard sun her lightning barely showed.
"Did I get it wrong, you fucking Frenchie? You're just a superpowered frog." Since Greevs would not let her go she dropped the act and cursed him straight.
Ivan did not answer. He tipped his head up.
His eyes turned deep purple. A second later two thick beams of purple light fired. Stormfront felt the kill coming and shot upward. Her reaction was still a hair slower than light.
Sizzle!!
The deep purple lasers took her ankle clean off. The heat cauterized the stump at the same time.
The pain nearly knocked her out. She knew if she slowed even a little she was dead.
"Didn't think your will to live was this stubborn." Ivan was not about to let her leave.
He pushed his telekinesis to the limit. An invisible force shoved him forward.
His body twisted and swelled. Three engine roars sounded inside him at once. The clean Homelander face split like a spiderweb. Every scarlet crack looked like it ran with molten slag.
In a blink he was beside her. He turned his head.
"Stop fighting. Die. You racist piece of shit!" Wearing Homelander's face, Ivan grinned and clamped his left hand on her right shoulder.
Rip!
A spray of blood hit the air. The torn-off arm fell.
"You should be glad it's me killing you."
In the original she got jumped by Maeve and the others, then Homelander's kid Ryan cut her legs off with heat vision. She ended up in a hospital bed and bit her own tongue off in despair.
The picture of those women slugging it out almost made him laugh. It looked like a street brawl.
"Die." Three extra pairs of eyes snapped open on Ivan's cheeks. Eight lasers fired at once.
Two of them only grazed her and the pain still took her right leg. Her mind was already fog. The only thing keeping her conscious was the need to see Homelander one last time.
"Got you." His right arm had already turned into an invisible tentacle and wrapped her waist.
"You doing... urg.. this so ... so people think Homelander killed me?"
Hanging from the tentacle, Stormfront forced her eyes open and spoke in a thin voice.
"Congratulations. You guessed right."
Ivan pulled her in front of him and grabbed her head.
"Look at me. Let me finish you."
Two lasers burned through Stormfront's eyes. A few seconds later they punched out the back of her skull and kept going into the sky behind her.

Ivan looked at the body in his hands. All life was gone. His face went calm. He opened his fingers and let Stormfront fall.
Less than half a minute later.
A heavy object smashed a crater in the street. Stormfront was dead, but her body was still as tough as when she was alive.
Same as Translucent after he died. The flesh kept the same strength.
A group of guys were in the middle of a smash-and-grab. They were having a great time "shopping" when a huge bang outside made them jump.
They thought someone had opened fire.
Hands over heads, they crouched on the floor.
"Where the hell are the cops?" After ten-odd seconds nobody slapped cuffs on them, so they grew some balls and edged toward the noise. When they stepped out of the store they saw Stormfront's body by the curb.
"Holy shit. Don't tell me that bang came from this thing." One of them swallowed and walked up to the corpse.
The body was a mess of blood and meat, but the costume looked familiar as hell.
When he placed it, he staggered back like he'd seen a ghost, landed on his ass, and said in a shaky voice, "Yo Franklin, I must be losing it, right?"
"That bad? It's just a dead woman. Not exactly rare."
One of his crew laughed at the look on his face.
"Yeah, Wicks, you always were a pussy. That's why you never grab as much as me."
"Shut it, Franklin. Hey CJ... Look at the clothes, dog!" Wicks's legs would not stop shaking.
"Clothes?" His buddy walked over. When he saw the state of the body he frowned. "Which fool did this? Sick bastard."
"The… the clothes… Storm… f.. f.. f.." Another one sat down hard, finger jabbing at the corpse.
"What storm?"
Lamar, the one in front, suddenly got it. His eyes went wide. "Don't… don't tell me this body is… is Vought's supe. Stormfront from The Seven."
Sirens cut in. Cops piled out of cars, taped the street, locked the scene down.
Every last one of the looters got hauled to the station for questioning.
Just like that, Stormfront's death blew up.
