He stared at the glowing prompt for one quiet heartbeat, pressed Yes on the panel, and exhaled slowly in relief.
The selection window vanished while radiant lines spread across the quiet forest clearing in intricate, ancient geometric patterns.
The magical lines joined into the familiar summoning circle and flattened the tall green grass beneath their radiant, pulsing heat.
He extended one steady hand and guided his rich mana directly into the living, pulsing pattern on the ground.
The stream broadcast ran from the morning walk out here, and he terminated the feed with one decisive thought.
'No audience for this sacred part... her very first breath of life belongs to this quiet clearing.'
He watched the panel light die while the summoning circle continued building its complex magical structure upon the earth.
The circle absorbed everything he offered before demanding even more raw energy from his deep, open mana core.
