The twins insisted on calling Jude that evening
Scarlett sat nearby on the couch while Tyler held the phone close to his face
"Daddy!"
Jude's face appeared on the screen as he was still in his office and the tiredness on his face was very obvious
"Hey, buddy", Jude said
Tyler smiled
"Daddy, are you okay?"
Jude held back slightly
"Yes, I am okay"
Tia instantly leaned into the frame
"But you don't look okay at all", she said
Jude let out a small smile
"And who told you that?"
"We can see it written all over your face", Tia said seriously
Tyler nodded
"We heard that you said something is happening with the company", he said gently
Jude's smile disappeared slightly as he sighted Scarlett in the corner
"They are hearing everything because I didn't tell them anything if that's what you are thinking", she said as she shrugged
Jude looked back at the twins
"Don't worry your little heads about daddy's company, you hear?"
