Jude barely made it to his car when his phone started to ring
He stopped to look at who the caller was and for a few seconds, he just stared at the screen
It was another member of the board
He finally answered
"Jude, you need to be at the headquarters immediately", the voice on the other end said
His chest tightened instantly
"What happened?"
"We have a very serious problem with some of our international investors and they are the big ones", the voice said quickly
"What kind of problem do we have again?"
There was a brief silence on the other end before the man spoke carefully
"They aren't just withdrawing anymore"
Jude's expression changed instantly
"Then what are they doing?", he asked
"They want their investments back"
Jude closed his eyes briefly as his fingers tightened around the phone
"But that isn't possible or is it?"
"It's already happening", the voice said slowly
The call ended
Jude stood in the driveway completely still
