"Yes, I made sure I did that", she said sharply
Scarlett could almost hear the thoughts moving behind his words
"You should focus on rebuilding Maguire Industries first", she had told him
He had agreed but something about her words had stayed with him and it wasn't because she was wrong
Well, neither of them ended the call instantly
There was a strange silence between them
Then Jude spoke

"Yes?"
"Can I kindly ask you a question?", he asked
"Yes, you can", Scarlett replied
"When did you start planning everything?"
Her fingers stopped moving instantly
"What do you mean?"
"I think you know exactly what I mean", Jude replied slowly
Scarlett leaned back slowly against her couch
"I have been thinking about everything since the investigation started and I try to keep going back to the beginning", he continued

"Well, maybe I started planning everything before I met you obviously", she finally said
