The Guild Master scrambled backward, pressing himself against the shattered remnants of his desk. He stared at the emotionless girl standing in the doorway, his face pale with absolute terror.
"Who... who the hell are you?!" the Guild Master stuttered, his voice cracking. "Why are you doing all of this?! What do you want?!"
The maid girl tilted her head slightly, her dark eyes scanning the cowering executives and investors. "Who is the one named Guild Master here?" she asked, her tone perfectly flat. "Solomon has asked me to deliver a message to you."
The wealthy investors exchanged desperate glances.
"Who is Solomon?!" the lead investor shouted, desperately pulling a thick stack of platinum credit chips from his jacket pocket. "Is he the one who hired you to do this? How much is he paying you?! We will pay you double! No, we will pay you triple whatever he offered! Just name your price!"
