After Daichi rescued Scarlet and Bete, they took some potions then waited for some time on the ground waiting for their injuries got better.
Scarlet:(damn this,if only we had a healer or higher positions), Scarlet was grabbing the arm that got broken from the wolf, the healing potions might have stopped the bleeding and helped them recover a little but it can't fully heal their injuries or reduce the pain, at least not the low potions.
Bete:(that's all we can afford potions are expensive, just endure it for now and stop whining)
Scarlet:(ha? just got the record, I'm not a muscle head like you two idiots,do you understand this, you stupid dog) scarlet stood and pointed her broken staff towards Bete.
Ellios:(why am I included? I did nothing)
Scarlet turned her head to Ellios and with a disgusted face :(if it wasn't because of your stupidity we wouldn't have took this mission from the beginning, also why are you not injured like us?)
Daichi was standing a little away from them as if he was looking for something, and after ten minutes from resting and fighting with each other, they are finally prepared to get out of the forest.
As the group got out of the forest they started to walk towards the road leading to the city of Lacrime, the group walked in silence for several minutes before scarlet break it:(so.....Daichi, right?this might be late but thank you for saving us back there)
Daichi:(it was nothing,I can now also go to my destination thanks to you leading the way)
Daichi responded calmly, Scarlet however was suspicious of him, so she tried to get more information out of him.
Scarlet:(I'm curious why someone like you came here though,from your clothes and strength you are either a noble or a very high adventurer.....and honestly Lacrime might be called a city but it's more like a small town, it's basically unimportant place, you can't find anything that can grab your attention here)
Scarlet just decided to be forward in asking, she felt overwhelmed and thought that beating around the bush won't be useful, despite that Bete didn't say anything but he was also suspicious and curious, Ellios was just listening without having any thoughts.
After a small silence waiting for his response Daichi:(even small places can have interesting things, I don't see any reason to tell you why I came here however)
that was an expected response but it left them a little disappointed.

Actually it was surprising for Scarlet and Bete that he didn't get angry, well...they both got tired of Ellios at the end and beat him to make him shut his mouth.
And that's how the rest of their walk went, they spent about an hour walking in a steady pace before they reach the city.
Stone wall surrounding the city, but despite looking really old they still look strong, that means whoever built this wall to defend the city was a skilled person.
Daichi stood in front of the wall before entering and:(tell me....is there anyone strong in the city?)
The group looked confused,Bete:( there's a woman who comes here usually but she left two weeks ago, I doubt that she returned that quickly.... beside her I don't think that anyone is noticeably strong, why do you ask though?)
Daichi:(nothing,I was just curious) he looked a little without moving in a certain direction then he walked with them towards the gates of the city.
Ellios' party entered normally, Daichi paid a fee for entering and signed some papers though.
After they passed the gates and finally became inside Lacrime, Daichi:( I will head to the old library now, thanks for telling me the direction)
Scarlet:(no need you saved our lives, that's not even enough, we will head to the guild now, hope we meet later under better circumstances)
Scarlet and Daichi shook their hands before departing,
Daichi's thoughts:(i found a lot of unexpected things here, the Argo and the Descendant of the fire lords....how interesting) as he walked away with his thoughts he smiled in amusement.
The party walked towards the adventurer guild,Ellios in the lead while Scarlet and Bete walked beside each other in the back.
A long sigh came out of Scarlet mouth:(god!what was that exactly?)
Bete:(so you really felt the pressure ha?Ellios didn't seem to feel it so I thought I lost my mind)
Scarlet:(I didn't know that stupidity can prevent you from feeling overwhelmed)
Bete:(so?were you able to determine his magic using that spell of yours?)
Scarlet stopped for a moment then she shook her head:(*sigh* I don't even know how to describe that, my spell can determine many things but....when I used it to see his mama I saw nothing.....no that's not right,all I saw was black,it was so great that it felt like it swallowed the whole world around him)
Bete:(from your reaction I can tell that it was really strange..... even without hearing this my senses were telling me to run while he was walking with us)
