The crowd standing silently in the hall, under the flickering screen light, looked like traders in a stock exchange waiting for the final showdown.
On the screen was a real-time situation map of the Leifeng Star battlefront, transferred from Chuckna Hanjing.
The battle diagram of Leifeng Star was familiar to the strategists at Headquarters. Almost every day, they hunch over the sand table, working for several hours.
Many could even close their eyes and accurately mark details of troop deployment, position elevations, unit numbers, Mecha quantities, fire points, logistics routes, and electronic superiority on a new map.
As the core leading the whole Fei Alliance, these were things they had to master. After all, Leifeng Star was the core of the Southeast War Situation. At the critical juncture of the Allies' third troop reinforcement, any danger at Leifeng Star could cause irreparable damage to the Southeast War Situation.
