Ji Shuangxue found herself utterly perplexed. Why the fog was so thick outside, but in their courtyard, there wasn't a trace of it? Was her dad's sword practice so intense it managed to disperse the fog?
A moment later, she vigorously rubbed her face. She felt like her father's quirks were rubbing off on her. A sword wasn't some kind of electric fan; it couldn't generate such powerful wind.
"What's going on?" Joseph inquired in standard Chinese when he noticed his daughter standing still at the door.
"It's foggy outside," Ji Shuangxue replied.
"Foggy? The weather forecast didn't mention fog today," Joseph said while stowing away his sword. He looked visibly confused as he walked towards the door.
As they chatted, the fog outside their house grew denser, and visibility plummeted even further. What's more, the fog seemed to be expanding visibly. The whole situation was starting to feel rather strange, and Ji Shuangxue began to feel a creeping discomfort.
