The Multiversal Dragon

“Why do you cling to humanity so much? Do you not see what they’ve done to our kind? They erased us. They drove us to extinction. Yet you still side with them.” “Humans are just… enjoyable. What can I say?” I’d never felt this kind of emotion before—the thrill of toying with my opponents. It felt incredible. Every time he had been toyed with, every time he found himself in situations like this, the outcome was always different. Even in his past, he had never experienced a feeling as overwhelming as this—finally being able to let it all out, to finally be the one in control. He never had that before. That’s why he couldn’t help but laugh. That’s why I’ll make it—a kingdom where Humans and Dragons no longer have to kill each other. A kingdom where we coexist. If I have to conquer a kingdom—or destroy one—if I must bring ruin to dragons, humans, even gods—I’ll do it all. Just so I can survive. This world has always been a world of survival. Greedy dragons fighting over food, dragons resisting the natural order, misunderstanding what should and shouldn’t be consumed... It led to a war—Humanity versus Dragons. Fifty percent of dragonkind sided with the humans, helping to create Dragon Slayer Magic—a type of magic designed specifically to kill dragons. But those dragons had never truly tasted human food. They’d never had cake, steak… cooked meat. Only raw flesh. “Human meat.” No wonder they wanted war. “I’ll let them experience the delicacies of humankind. But If I must start a war just to live, then I will. But who said I fancy humanity? I just don’t want to deal with them. Their politics kill. The greed of humans…” “I just want to live in this forsaken world of greed.” The dragons started a war to remain at the top. A war against humanity. A war where they fought endlessly, driven by their hunger for humans. Humanity’s numbers fell while the dragons kept feeding. But half of dragonkind resisted. They didn’t understand why the others were eating humans. What was the point? They appreciated humanity. And so, they sparked a revolution—ushering in the War of Dragons. That revolution led to the Age of Dragon Slayers. Dragons helped humans create Dragon Slayer Magic—a magic meant to kill their own kind. And so, humanity fought back. The Age of Dragon Slaying began—the war between dragonkind and humanity erupted. I was born in the midst of it all. A dragon who hatched just before this chaos began. Raised in an era of survival, born into the Age of Dragon Slayers… where the battlefield was everywhere, and death followed every step. ---- Main World: Fairy Tail. as of right now First world: Fairy Tail Second world: Solo Leveling, Third world: Fate Series

As he navigates the challenges of this new realm, the balance between darkness and light will test his resolve and reshape his destiny. ~ Author note ~ English is my first language but I was never really that good at it. Always a "B" student. The fanfic should still be very readable, though anyone with a grammar hard-on may have aneurysms .-. This is a re-imagining of my first original fanfic "Fairy's Ace". It was at 16 chapters but i realized that Naruto in Fairy Tail was an overused troupe in Fanfiction. Moreover, I wasn't really satisfied with my starting .-. So here is my second attempt at a Naruto X Fairy Tail crossover fanfiction, but this time involving one of my favourite and underrated characters, Shisui Uchiha. Pairings are undecided, but if you are familiar with my translation work for the Marvel series, the romance comes slow, but that's mainly due to me trying to build the relationship. As this is a fanfiction, certain AU elements may appear, please take note that i will not be following cannon events religiously and will change things where necessary! And finally, I do not own anything related to Naruto nor Fairy Tail, this is a fanfiction and the only thing I can claim as my own is my own perceived view of the plot progression and original characters. In our world, there are no humans, no great cities. Only the servants of Mother Nature—that is, us—and the hordes of darkness. Every year, they come to take the “ripened fruits.” This year, our protagonist, Skylar, enters the academy—but unexpected twists await her. Our heroine ends up in the Danger Zone, and she must make it through if she wants to survive. She barely manages to cross it, where the Headmistress and the leader of the training squad await her anxiously. When she reaches the finish line, the Headmistress scolds those who made jokes and escorts the frightened yet brave Sky to the main building. The students undergo an initiation, during which everyone’s abilities are revealed. Skylar is placed in a separate group, one that includes only her and the Headmistress—because she wields the full power of Mother Nature: water, wind, earth, and fire. It’s later revealed that she can also control dragons. Apart from her friends, everyone mocks her because she initially struggles to control her powers. Over time, a romance begins to develop between her and the squad leader. During the annual training, she gives it her all and becomes one of the top students. As more and more students begin to respect her, she gains just as many enemies. One day, some of those enemies throw her back into the Danger Zone, where she discovers her ability to control dragons. She returns to the academy as a dragon rider—wounded and barely alive—where the squad leader finds her. After she tells everything, the students who mistreated her are punished.
