Stranger Things: The Number Seven
How far can someone go in search of freedom? Seven knew. How much humiliation, how many beatings and how much hunger can a child endure? Seven knew. He endured everything that had been imposed on him. He cried, bled, and nearly died to deceive the scientists, the soldiers, and, above all, Papa. He made them believe he was the weakest among his siblings, that his powers were insignificant, that he was nothing more than a nobody.
He manipulated them in silence, allowed himself to be underestimated, seen as harmless. Because he knew, better than anyone, that he would never have the chance to leave those white walls. His fate had been sealed since birth, and it would be to die there, like a laboratory rat, without ever knowing the warmth of the sun. So he waited and endured. And when they least expected it, he acted.
