When a teenager from Earth suddenly transmigrates into the body of Kaneki Ken, he finds himself trapped in a nightmare he barely understands. His only knowledge of this world is based on a few viral edits and the very first episode—specifically, the terrifying scene of Rize devouring humans. He has no idea who the heroes are, how the world works, or the faces of the people he is supposed to trust.
