The boy who writes Goodbye Letters
Synopsis:
Kai is quiet, thoughtful, and often misunderstood. He has a peculiar habit: whenever someone leaves his life—whether by choice, circumstance, or distance—he writes them a goodbye letter. But these letters are never sent. They’re his private way of processing grief, unspoken feelings, and farewells that he can’t voice aloud.
When a new student, Ren, arrives at school, Kai is intrigued. Ren is charming, outspoken, and the kind of person who seems to walk through life without holding anything back. Slowly, Kai finds himself drawn to Ren, inspired by him to open up and live in the moment.
But Kai’s past losses haunt him. He fears getting close to anyone, believing that all bonds eventually break. As their friendship deepens, Kai struggles between protecting his heart and embracing the possibility of love.
When Ren discovers Kai’s secret habit of writing unsent goodbye letters, he’s both confused and moved. Together, they navigate the delicate balance between fear and trust, silence and confession.
In the end, Kai must choose: continue writing goodbye letters for a life he never fully embraces—or finally send a letter that says hello to love.
