Just as one of Tianshi's guards finished reporting, a low, distant hum rippled through the air. It began as a faint vibration underfoot, then it deepened, swelling into a resonant thrum that seemed to vibrate through the street itself. Shop signs rattled lightly on their chains, and a few pedestrians paused mid-step, heads tilting toward the sky.
Xuefeng glanced upward, just as a broad shadow slid over the street. Above the Liu Clan Territory loomed a gigantic warship, sleek and imposing. Sunlight flashed against its polished hull, dancing over the intricate runes etched along its sides. It hovered for a long moment, dominating the skyline, before beginning its measured descent. Piece by piece, its massive form compressed, folding in upon itself with a mechanical grace that almost seemed alive.
Around them, voices broke into excited whispers.
"Is that the same ship again?" one man murmured to his companion.
