Chapter 35 - 2.1 The Beginning

Surrounded by four great mountains, there was a beautiful, luscious forest, filled with all kinds of exotic life. And, in the forest, there was a large rock pillar at its center. Shattering, a small, sleeping monkey child emerges. Minutes later, the sun rises, shining its light on the monkey child's golden-brown fur. Waking up, the monkey child rises and yawns, releasing powerful shockwave that was felt by the gods.

"What was that powerful aura I just felt?" an elder god said.

"Shall I send a scout out to investigate, my emperor?" Another god asked.

"No, we're already spread too thin with this idiotic war with the Jan-gu. We can't afford enough to lose any more soldiers."

"Yessir," The soldier said.

Back in the forest, the monkey child is running through the forest, climbing and jumping on trees looking for food. Spotting a tree with big, luscious fruit, the monkey child immediately jumps into the tree, but is knocked out of it.

"Listen here, squirt. I'm feeling pretty generous today. So, I'm going to let you off with a warning. Get out of my sight." A larger monkey said, who laid claim to the tree.

"But…

"Ehhh, you're still here, Squirt?" it said as it stood up and jumped from the tree. Landing in front of the little monkey, the larger monkey picks him up by the neck and holds him high. "You must have a death wish." It pulls back his fist and punches the little monkey as hard as he could, sending him flying into a tree.

Slowly, the little monkey gets up while radiating a reddish aura. Immediately, the larger monkey began to feel fear.

"What's going on? What's that red aura?" It said.

Instantly, the little monkey charged and jumped at the larger monkey, punching it. Afraid, the larger monkey ran away while yelling out "I'll be back, Squirt! Just you wait!"

Calming down, the little monkey looked around to see the larger monkey was gone and no where to found. Not caring, the little monkey jumps into the tree and grabs the largest and juiciest fruit. He bites into it and smiles with a sparkle in his eyes. Then, another small monkey and a fox slowly approaches.

"What do you want?" the little monkey asked. Afraid, they stayed silent and back away. Suddenly, the fox's stomach growls loudly. "Oh, wait a second." He said before jumping for two juicy fruits. "Here, have as much as you want. They're really good." The little monkey said as held out his hands. Cautious, the other monkey held the fox back. "I'm not going to hurt you."

The fox, trusting him, grabbed the fruit and bit into it. Wagging her tail, she smiles happily. Seeing how the fox smiled after one bite, the other monkey's stomach growled, forcing him to grab from the little monkey's hand. "Thank you," the other monkey said
