Drake was worried about Joy, He called Peter to ask if he found Joy, But Peter said," No, Doctor Drake I had checked on every all floor she works, but she was not anywhere, I went to the rooftop but the door was locked.
Drake cut in Peter in the middle and said," Locked? but its never locked, did you try to open it?
Yes, I did but it won't open said Peter breathing heavily. Joy went to the rooftop right, asked Drake feeling anxious.
Yeah, she did, but why she would be there for this long, Its cold out there, Doctor Drake, said Peter.
What if she is there? she went there, maybe she got locked out, as Drake said that, he ran through the hall and went straight to the Rooftop. he asked Peter to come for help too. Drake reached there and Looked at the closed door.

Drake ran to Joy, He took his jacket off and wrapped it around joy. he Checked Joy, Her body was all cold, she was shivering and breathing heavily. Drake Lifted Joy In his arms and ran straight to the elevator. Peter Followed him.
Drake Put Joy on the bed he asked Martha to change her clothes immediately as they were wet due to snow. Drake Checked Joy. The pulse is very weak said Drake, Drake begins CPR.
after CPR when Joy's breathing got little stable, Drake put oxygen mask and asked Martha to give warm fluids intravenously. he rubbed Joy's feet to heat them.
after a while, as Joy's Body got little warm, she stopped shivering. Drake sat beside her. Peter was standing near drake. " How could she get locked out there? Did not anybody check before locking the door? thanks to god it wasn't January, she could have died out there, said Peter all teared up.
Stop it Peter, Said Drake and asked him to leave. I would be here until she woke up, So, you can go.
Peter then left, Drake holds Joy's hand, there were tears in his eyes and he kept looking at Joy, he stayed up all night and after a while, he fell asleep by her side holding her hand.
It was 5 AM, Joy slowly opened her eyes as she regains consciousness, she was feeling weak. Joy looked around and found herself on the hospital bed, " What am I doing here? I was at the rooftop, How did I get here" wondered Joy. She saw Drake sitting by her side holding her hand, She called out his name," Drake? Drake?
Drake woke up abruptly as he heard Joy. Joy, You woke up, How you are feeling? Joy? Drake Took the thermometer out check Joy's temperature and said, you still have a fever.

Relax I am fine, It's just a fever Drake, said Joy as she saw Drake restless, and she tried to stand, that made Drake angry and he said, seriously Joy, how could you be so careless, it's not just fever, You could have died there, do you have any idea How worried I was, you were shivering, your body was freezing, do you know for a minute I thought I lost you, Joy Looked at Drake. Drake was angry due to his concern, his love for Joy, the thought of losing her made him go crazy.
He didn't think fo a second and just spit everything he wanted to say.
Drake just didn't stop there, and said," and Joy stop saying I am fine Joy, Because I know you are not, you are weak, just a few hours ago you were lying unconscious shivering, breathing heavily, and you say that you are okay, I am a doctor Joy, and I know if you are okay or not, so just stop right there and let me do my work".
Joy just sat on her bed and lied down looking at Drake all stunned. Joy didn't say anything and just did as Drake asked her. After examining Joy, Drake looked at Joy and said, " I have called Lisa and told her you won't be home today as you are doing overtime, I didn't tell her about this so that she won't get worried."
Joy didn't say a word. Now say something, said Drake. but You asked me not to, said Joy. all right, You can, do want anything? what were you doing at the rooftop at night? asked Drake.
I just went to get some fresh air, said joy. I didn't have any idea how someone locked the door. I tried to call but my phone battery died, and I got stuck there, said, Joy.
Okay, so you rest and I will be back after an hour to check again, and I need you to be here resting when I come back, Okay? said, Drake.
Okay! I will be here, said Joy. As Drake turned to leave, Joy Said, Drake? and she paused. " what is it? Do you need anything? asked Drake.
No, I... I Just wanted to thank you, thank you for saving my life, and for not telling Lisa about all of this. Joy wanted to say something more but she couldn't find words and just stopped there.
then Drake left to check on other patients.
Joy went to sleep for a while and when she woke up, Peter and Clair standing right in front of her.
joy, how you feeling? Are you okay? asked Clair. Yes, I am good Clair. You scared us Noona, Do you know How worried I was when I saw you lying on bench unconscious, said Peter.
Oh? you were there? did you bring me here? asked joy. No, I didn't, It was Doctor Drake.he brought you here, we tried to found you everywhere but we couldn't, thanks to Doctor Drake He acted so fast, he broke the Lock and found you, and brought you here on time, If he wasn't there you could have died, He was so worried. He stayed up all night just to make sure you are okay, Said Peter.
Joy was stunned when she heard what Drake Did for her. She Looked at Drake checking patients and said to Peter," Did he? He did all of this? for me? why? because he cares for you Noona? or why would he do that, said Peter?
and then both Clair and Peter left. Joy was confused, she was sad, she was happy? she did not know what she was feeling. for the first time in her life, she felt that she too has someone who cares about her. Joy was feeling thankful towards Drake for saving her Life, for staying by her side.
As Joy was wondering about all these things in her head, Drake came and said, Why you are not resting? what you are thinking about? Nothing Drake, I had rested a while, I am feeling better Now, and I am not lying this time, said joy.
Okay, let me see, your temperature then as Drake bent down to check her temperature, Joy looked at him wondering why is he caring about me even when I rejected him, Drake couldn't resist himself and he locked his eyes with her, it was like time just stopped there for him, they both looked at each other's eyes and then Joy backed up, She turned her face away from Drake, and said," so do I still have a fever?
Drake hesitated a bit and then said," Hmmm? Yeah? You are good Now, It seems like your fever is gone for now, but you need to take these medicines because you are weak.
Then Drake Left, Joy Looked at him going, and wondered," why did she do that? wy she had to look into his eyes? what if he took it in a wrong way, I shouldn't be doing this. This is wrong, He is my friend.
Joy was confused, she was flustered she had no idea what was going on, For the first time she felt like someone cares for her too without wanting anything in return.
was She falling for Drake or was it just because she was thankful to drake for saving her life. When joy Looked at him in his eyes, he was flustered, his heart fluttered, he felt like he was on clouds.
