Chapter 14 - The Druid Lady Goat - Chapter 14

Martin was about to lie down on his bed when a wave of intense fear washed over him.

He took a deep breath and immediately transformed into his Claw Demon Minion form.

He noticed his legs were more muscular, but he had no time to think about it.

He burst out the door and sprinted toward the densest part of the forest.

He realized the fear he felt came from the energy of Master Malim's skeleton, giving him a three-minute head start before anyone arrived.

Garlin, who had transformed into the Fire Bull, was rushing toward Martin's house, and Taint's two sons were also on their way.

Martin used his long, powerful claws to leap from tree to tree, his agility and speed dramatically increased. He climbed to the top of a tree and looked around.

The forest was dark and thick, making it hard to see.

He knew he had to find a safe place to hide until morning.

The feeling he experienced was enough to tell him he could never return to the village.

The shapeshifter who caused it was clearly powerful.

He decided his plan was to stay in the woods.

If he found another village, he would hunt the people there before looking for a different creature to transform into, or he would strengthen his Claw Demon Minion.

As Martin moved quickly through the trees, a scream rang out, and something knocked him to the ground.

He looked up to see a creature with a beautiful woman's face and body, but with the powerful legs of a goat.

Her green eyes fixed on him with a menacing glare. Martin focused and saw her status:

The Druid Goat Lady

Level: W1-Druid

Strength: 1.0 (Evolution is possible)

Agility: 0.9

Vitality: 0.9

Intelligence: 0.3

Information: "The Goat Druid Lady is a monster with the face of a pretty woman. Beware, she has the legs of a strong goat."

Skill:

Minor Damage: For 30 seconds, damage dealt is 20% more. (1-hour cooldown)

Skill 2: ?

Skill 3: ?

Martin's heart sank. The creature was far stronger than him in almost every way.

The Druid Goat Lady didn't wait; she leapt at him, attacking with her hooves.

Martin dodged the attack and used the opportunity to flee

."I can't face this creature in a direct physical confrontation," he thought. "She'll tear me apart."

He realized the statistical difference between them was about four to five points, and he would need 3,000 to 4,000 Paradigna Points to be as powerful as her, which was impossible right now.

He continued to flee.

Luckily, the goat druid lady's powerful legs weren't well-suited for climbing trees, though she was still fast on the ground.

As he leapt from tree to tree, he noticed a strange-looking tree ahead.

A smile appeared on his face, and he moved faster.

He pretended to lose his footing and fall to the ground.

Druid Goat Lady, angry from the chase, saw him fall and prepared to attack.

Martin, with a strange smile, whispered,

"Demonic Frenzy!" His claws glowed slightly red, and he felt a surge of warmth in his arms.

The Druid Goat Lady sensed something was wrong, but she was only a few feet away and was already committed to the attack.

Martin seized the opportunity, crawling back a bit before launching a direct claw attack. He had used his skill and his deceptive fall, and his attack was perfect.

He managed to kill the Druid Goat Lady, slicing her head into five pieces.

The Paradigna System's voice echoed in his ears:

"The Druid Goat Lady"

"300 Paradigna Points"

(Fewer points because the enemy was not a shapeshifter.)

"Bonus: Demon-Type Beings and Druid-Type Beings are enemies. +50 Paradigna Points."

Martin smiled faintly.

He had survived the fight without a scratch.

He took one last look at the body before leaping into a tree and continuing his escape.
