After several waves of direct combat, most of the Lavablade Masters quickly pulled back.
They broke their previous formation and widened the distance between themselves and Martin. They raised their lava-blades in unison and began chanting something words that were incoherent to Martin's ears.
They were more like guttural whispers of magma itself than any spoken language.
Whatever it was, it wasn't meant to be understood by him or other than them.
A second later, the transformation happened.
The already massive Lavablades, which had been three to four meters long, suddenly surged in length now reaching a devastating ten meters.
It was like each one of them was wielding a molten pillar instead of a sword.
