Bai Huiling felt the sting of humiliation, certain that Bai Xifeng was mocking her. Her face flushed a deep, indignant red, fueled by rising anger.
"Fire Blast!!!" Bai Huiling screamed, pouring even more intensity and power into the flickering flames of her Fire Blast.

Bai Huiling recalled a specific fire spell she had been learning at school. She was still in the middle of practicing it, but since this "little bitch" wanted a taste of her magic, she would gladly provide it.
"Overburn!" Bai Huiling shouted, thrusting her hand toward Bai Xifeng.
It was another fire spell, yet Bai Xifeng stood stunned for a moment before bursting into a fresh fit of laughter.
"Hahahahaha!!!" Bai Xifeng roared again. Once more, she laughed so hard that tears began to stream down her cheeks.
"What on earth is this?" Bai Xifeng managed to ask between gasps of laughter.
The 'Overburn' was supposed to be an instant, high-heat fire capable of incinerating anything within its range. However, Bai Huiling's version produced nothing more than a tiny, pathetic spark that flickered for a second before dying off completely.
Even Xiao Li and Bai Huiling's own personal maids looked as though they were struggling to suppress their own amusement.
"Pfft!" Someone in the small crowd could not help but let a snicker escape.
"Shut up!" Bai Huiling barked, her face burning with embarrassment.
It was her own maid who had dared to laugh, but Huiling was too humiliated to even turn around and face her. She had never expected her spell to fail so spectacularly, especially not in front of a "trash" member of the family like Bai Xifeng.
"I guess our dear Huiling didn't pay much attention in class, did she?" Bai Xifeng mocked, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Shut up!!!" Bai Huiling snapped, her temper finally exploding. "Fire Blast! Fire Blast! Fire Blast!" She began spamming the only spell she knew well, desperate to teach Bai Xifeng a lesson.
Now, Bai Xifeng decided not to waste any more time. Moving with swift, predatory speed, she vanished from her spot and reappeared instantly, standing directly in front of a startled Bai Huiling.
