"I have to admit, this part looks good, I think we can totally consider getting ready for the second one now," Adrian said humorously to Gary Marshall, after watching the entire process on set.
"That will take longer to prepare, I'm almost seventy years old after all, not as young as you guys," Marshall replied with a smile.
This was the set of "The Princess Diaries," and almost three weeks had passed since shooting began. As an investor and producer, Adrian ought to come and take a look. They were shooting Mia's scenes attending a dinner, where due to her ignorance, she incited a series of jokes. Overall, the progress was quite good. Both Anne Hathaway, who played Princess Mia, and Julie Andrews, who portrayed the Queen, delivered commendable performances. Marshall had applauded Anne to Adrian more than once, and it seemed she was very likable, which was not easy to achieve, but it explained why she always had a place here.
