Guding and Elizabeth walked slowly down the corridor.
After the Life Gate opened earlier, it revealed a dim corridor. Along this corridor, there is a glowing crystal stone on the wall every few hundred meters, but the light is dim and illuminates no more than two meters around. Each crystal stone is spaced over a hundred meters apart, making the entire corridor appear very dark.
The two had been walking for more than half an hour but hadn't reached the end. They didn't dare fly or move quickly, fearing traps invisible to Pupil Skills, so they could only walk.
"How long exactly is this corridor? With our walking pace, we should have traveled seven or eight kilometers in half an hour. Building such a corridor seems pointless, even if it's for their own people; it wouldn't be convenient..." Guding was puzzled.
"Wait, stop walking!" Elizabeth suddenly shouted at Guding.
"What's wrong?"
